St. Norbert College (SNC), a nationally-ranked, private, Catholic, liberal arts college is seeking a Director of Marketing Communications to lead a small, high-performing content marketing and event marketing team.

The Director will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing and communication strategies to drive enrollment, enhance fundraising efforts, and strengthen the institution's brand reputation. This role plays a critical part in developing the brand that will help ensure the college's success for the next 125 years.

A deep understanding of owned, paid, and earned media, along with the ability to manage content marketing, media relations, and crisis communications for both the institution and the President, is essential.

Reporting to the Chief marketing Officer (CMO), this role will cover a broad range of responsibilities, including crisis communications, policy communications, executive communications, campus updates, internal communications, and event marketing.

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing communications, with a strong emphasis on content marketing and media relations.Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns that drive results.Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse campus environment or commitment to do so as an employee of St. Norbert College.Exceptional leadership and team management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and deliver impactful presentations.Experience in higher education is beneficial, but a diverse background with experience in other sectors is highly valued.Deep understanding of digital marketing, social media, SEO, and analytics.Experience with demand generation funnels and data-driven marketing strategies.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.Experience working with CRM systems and marketing automation tools.Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform marketing strategies.Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions.Local, regional and national media relations.Crisis communications and crisis protocolsHigh level of attention to detail and commitment to quality.
