Marketing Intern

Looking to explore a marketing role that helps to deliver all the brands in your life? We are looking for a motivated university intern, in their senior year, to join our North America Marketing team. In this role you'll learn B2B marketing tactics to create impact for our business and position Maersk as the preferred logistics partner for our existing and future customers. This position will be based in Northern, NJ (preferred), however we are willing to consider remote work.

Key responsibilities

Maersk is excited to offer Internships in select locations. The program offers a great opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-motivated student who desires hands-on experience in B2B marketing across US, Canada and Mexico. Interns will gain knowledge in marketing and engage with stakeholders across supply chain functions and industries. Program opportunities are part-time or full-time opportunities for either 6 months or Fall/Spring semesters. Depending on your skill set and objectives we can work with you to determine which is the best suited option and projects associated with each.

Objectives of the role:Lead generation projects: Intern will participate and run prospecting, intent, and digital lead review initiatives. The project requires active participation in Salesforce and working together with our sales and product teams daily.Communication and activation projects: Intern will handle a variety of options depending on time of year across event marketing, Product promotion and brand review of sales collateralsResearch and Insights projects: Intern will conduct desktop research on various industries and customer insightsRole reports into the Product Marketing team, but will work additionally with Events, Insights, and Vertical Marketing teamsQualifications and skills:

Min 3.0 GPADegree pursuit in Marketing, Communications, Media/PR, Video/Content/Creative, Branding, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related.Strong Time Management skillsExcellent written communication skillsSelf-starter and project management (nice to have)Lead generation developmentExperience with Marketing software (Eloqua, Salesforce MC, Marketo, etc.) is a plusExperience with Salesforce Sales cloud is a plusStrong skills in MS Powerpoint, MS Excel and MS Word are requiredCollateral graphic design skills (nice to have)Intent tool experience (nice to have)
