This remote role is not tightly linked to a physical location and provides flexibility in where, when and how you accomplish your work. Remote employees are expected to have a dedicated, quiet and distraction-free work space and an internet connection that's sufficient for completing their job remotely.

Job Summary

As the Director of Product Marketing at Harley-Davidson, you will lead a team of product marketers to drive the success of various product categories within our business, including our diverse portfolio of motorcycles, parts, and accessories and our Apparel & Licensing business. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the product marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall brand vision, and driving the growth and profitability of Harley-Davidson's product offerings. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies that resonate with our target audiences and uphold our brand's legacy of excellence. The ideal candidate will possess an entrepreneurial mindset, continuously seeking innovative ways to drive the market success of our range of product offerings.

Job Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of product marketers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance.Develop and implement comprehensive product marketing strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and sales across all product categories.Oversee the creation of compelling product positioning, messaging, and value propositions that differentiate Harley-Davidson products in the marketplace.Collaborate with the Product Development, Sales, and various Brand Marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of product marketing efforts with broader marketing strategies and company initiatives.Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscapes to inform product marketing strategies and identify opportunities for growth.Drive the development and execution of go-to-market plans, including product launches, promotional campaigns, and retail marketing tools.Ensure brand consistency and alignment across all product marketing activities and materials.Partner with the Digital Marketing team to leverage digital channels and technologies for product marketing initiatives.Monitor and report on the performance of product marketing campaigns, using data-driven insights to optimize strategies and achieve business objectives.Manage budgets and resources effectively to maximize the impact of product marketing efforts.Cultivate an entrepreneurial approach to product marketing, encouraging innovative thinking and a proactive attitude towards identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities.Key Competencies and SkillsStrong leadership and team management skills.Strategic thinking and the ability to develop and execute effective product marketing strategies.Excellent project management and organizational skills.Proficient in market research and data analysis.Strong communication and presentation skills.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.In-depth knowledge of the motorcycle industry and passion for the Harley-Davidson brand.Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and driving innovation.Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Required

Education Specifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.

Experience Requirements

Typically requires 12 years of related experience in marketing

Minimum of 5 years of management experience

The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
