Location: Binghamton, NY Category: Professional Posted On: Thu Aug 15 2024 Job Description:Budget Title: Senior Staff Assistant (SL-3)Salary: $55,151The Assistant Director for Admissions Communications is a key member of the Undergraduate Admissions office who will focus on the implementation, management and enhancement of CRM and technical functions related to communications, marketing and events as part of the overall strategic plan to provide consistent branding, messaging, and positive user experience across admissions recruitment and operational activities.Essential functions:+ Responsible for implementing and managing form and event registration and related marketing and communications including landing pages, portals, emails and more+ Ensure quality control of forms, events, portals and communications through testing, review and continuous auditing+ Assist with updating and maintaining portals, such as the application status checker+ Actively support all admissions marketing, including digital marketing and social media+ Write, update and maintain content for admissions email, SMS and print communications. Construct and edit emails and SMS messages in our CRM, Slate+ Create, update and maintain complex queries to target populations for communications+ Provide marketing, technical and general support to campus visit activities and operations+ Build, maintain and update Slate reports related to communications and events. Maintain and update profiles and messaging through partner platforms and help facilitate lead generation and follow up+ Stay current with and implement general and Slate specific best practices and trends related to communications, forms, events and portals to identify opportunities, efficiencies and improvements+ Supervise professional staff as well as student volunteers and/or assistantsJob Requirements:+ Bachelor's degree+ 3-5 years of experience in undergraduate admissions, enrollment marketing or a related field+ Knowledge and understanding of college recruitment and marketing+ Exceptional writing skills and impeccable use of grammar and punctuation+ Demonstrated ability with using a CRM system; Slate preferred+ Supervisory or leadership experience; both staff and student preferred+ Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem solving and strong attention to detail+ Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills+ Ability to work successfully with a team and independently+ Ability to work occasional evening and weekendsVisa sponsorship is not available for this positionAdditional Information:Offers of employment may be contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check and verification of degree(s) and credentials.Binghamton University is a tobacco-free campus.Pursuant to Executive Order 161, no State entity, as defined by the Executive Order, is permitted to ask, or mandate, in any form, that an applicant for employment provide his or her current compensation, or any prior compensation history, until such time as the applicant is extended a conditional offer of employment with compensation.
