Digital Media and Classroom Technology Technician_

The Classroom Support Technician will be primarily focused on providing end user support of the classroom audio/video and Smart technology at Salem State University for faculty, students and staff. This role will be the primary contact for the coordination and execution of all evening classroom and event support requests (5PM-7PM). Primary duties will include support of on-campus audio/visual/learning technology for classroom spaces and for on-campus events. This role will also be responsible for participation in support of larger, online "webinar" events in conjunction with other technical and non-technical administrators. Office activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting. Employee is subject to extended periods of visiting different classrooms interacting with a variety of AV equipment; occasional bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 25-50 pounds.
