Performs the support requires by Engineering to document new designs via Creo parametric modeling and drafting. Includes use of Creo, CAD modeling and drafting, GD&T analysis, support drawing sign-off and release, and maintenance of the Drafting Manual containing Doosan FCA drafting standards. Identify standard parts and materials used across all components, provide feedback on and update the drafting manual to streamline the product definition process. Apply Drafter and Designer skills to perform functions of the position within assigned area. Adapt new procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and equipment to meet the requirements of the position. Rely on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals. Serve as a resource to others in the resolution of problems and issues and refer only the more complex issues to higher levels.Role & Responsibility+ Identify and meet customer expectations and requirements.+ Ensure customer commitments are met with full documentation and quality products.+ Leverage skills and support team work to provide support to ensure effective task execution.+ Identify root causes of problems, secure relevant information, and identify possible solutions.+ Utilize effective trouble-shooting techniques and efficient, effective ways to perform root cause analysis.+ Develop plans that anticipate short and long-term business demands for assigned and expected work assignments.+ Continually work on advancing one’s skill base and reliability within the group.+ Provide direct, constructive, and actionable feedback in a way the team can constructively understand and use.+ Express ideas effectively to establish self as a credible and impactful Drafter/Designer.Job RequirementKnowledge:+ Production of change engineering release documentation with Windchill or comparable software.+ Production of drawing trees to document and track larger change packages.+ Ability to produce drawings which document the intent of the designer.+ Create 3-D models and other definition models using Creo to meet design intent.Experience:+ 5+ years of related experience+ Prior use of intermediate and some advanced skills+ Creo and/or ProE experienceEducation+ AA/AS degree in Drafting Technology or equivalent experience.+ Technical School Certificate+ Skilled Trades Apprenticeship+ 2 years of post-high school trainingKey Skills+ Strong computer and systems skills.+ Good communications skills+ Well organized+ Focus on teamwork.
