Mechanical Design DrafterKelly SETT, a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is seeking a Mechanical Design Drafter for one of our Global Clients.**Overview**Our customer is a **manufacturer of valves and pressure gages.** They are working through a backlog of drawings that need revision as they transition from 2D to 3D and are adding a contractor in support of these efforts. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, 401k, and paid time off, demonstrating our commitment to your well-being.You’ll update, revise, and enhance legacy AutoCAD and Creo drawings, transition drawings between software platforms, and ensure all designs meet modern standards and specifications.This position offers a unique opportunity to be involved in detailed design processes, using both AutoCAD and Creo, along with an understanding of GD&T per ASME Y14.5. It's a chance to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the future of our client's products.Additionally, you’ll work closely with the Sr. Design Drafter to document the design/revision process, execute drawings updates and revisions. You will collaborate internally with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams.**Responsibilities:**+ Update, revise, correct, add GD&T to legacy AutoCAD & Creo drawings.+ Transition AutoCAD drawings to Creo+ Update BOMs, issue and track ECNs+ Outline & document design process+ Write work instructions and SOPs+ Evaluate mechanical designs and implement modifications+ Communicate project updates with offshore design team, Sr. Design Drafter, Engineering Manager and other relevant stakeholders.+ Collaborate with internal teams for problem solving, ensuring drawings meet quality and manufacturability requirements.**Qualifications:**+ **Required** :+ Associate's degree in CAD Design or equivalent formal training.+ Experience: Minimum of 1+ years in drafting metal parts that were machined, welded, or otherwise manufactured.+ **Preferred** :+ Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or engineering technology.+ Creo proficiency - required+ AutoCAD proficiency - preferred+ Working knowledge of GD&T per ASME Y14.5, highly preferred+ Prior experience writing any type of engineering documentation such as process documentation, work instructions, or SOPs a plus+ Proficiency with Word, Excel required+ Any ERP software experience for creating or entering BOM/ECN a plus (Oracle currently used)+ Required soft skills: attention to detail, record of collaboration, enjoys CAD work.**What happens next:**Once you apply, you'll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
