Technical Writer_

Job Title: Technical WriterJob Description+ We are seeking 3 Technical Writers to support a Repair Process Engineer and a Process Control/Quality Engineer by reviewing relevant Aftermarket Technical Information and building, writing, and overhauling Repair Process Plans.+ You will work closely with these engineers to modify and update current work instructions to improve clarity, content, and detail.+ The work instructions need to be step-by-step and clear for mechanics on the floor to follow.+ You will be responsible for typing, inputting, and arranging data in the work instructions, ensuring adherence to an existing style guide (e.g., warnings in red and bold).+ Key responsibilities include reviewing and interpreting engine manuals and other technical data to develop repair and overhaul methods, determining processes and dimensions, creating and updating work instructions, ensuring timely project completion, and coordinating with other departments.Hard Skills+ 5+ years of technical writing/work instruction/documentation writing experience+ Experience in manufacturing environment+ Experience with Office 365 suite, including Project and VisioSoft Skills+ Strong communication skills+ Attention to detail+ Ability to work collaboratively with various departmentsJob TypeThis is a contract position with a duration of 16 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Lansing, Michigan.Work EnvironmentThese positions will be on-site in Lansing. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with 9-hour days starting between 7-8am. Employees receive 15 days off for holidays.
