**ROLE SUMMARY**The Payer Access Training Design and Delivery Specialist (the "Specialist") will oversee the design, development, and implementation of a comprehensive learning program tailored to Payer Access colleagues by providing the requisite knowledge, skills, and tools on payer access to effectively execute their role.With a strong working knowledge of payer access, reimbursement, and channel management, the Specialist leads the design and development of payer access related content as well as its applicability within an integrated team curriculum. Content includes, but is not limited to, core customer engagement skills, market insights, and payer access role-specific content that meets the needs of the payer access customer-facing colleagues.The Specialist must possess a deep understanding of channel management, reimbursement, relevant payer access strategies across the US, and specific payer access roles in Pfizer, and must know how these roles operate compliantly and effectively within an integrated account approach.**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**+ Act as a subject matter expert in payer access, reimbursement, channel management, and coverage within the appropriate customer engagement skills and frameworks+ Maintain expertise and understanding of the compliant application of payer access knowledge on topics such as Medicare, Medicaid, 340B, buy & bill, group purchasing organizations, contracting, health plans, pharmacy benefit managers, pharmacy, care standardization, care delivery models, protocols, pathways, and access policies+ Possess technical expertise in payer business models and priorities, payer market perspective, market knowledge, and drivers of local market dynamics - and leverage this expertise to provide input and feedback to appropriate internal stakeholders to influence relevant training strategy and to share knowledge with payer access colleagues compliantly+ Partner effectively with all relevant internal stakeholders (Leadership, Market Access, Key Account Management, Cross-Functional working groups, Marketing, Medical, Sales, Regulatory, Legal, Compliance, Training, etc) to conduct gap analyses, evaluate and prioritize general and specific payer access training needs, and manage demand+ Collaborate with Global Access & Value colleagues, Marketing, Training, and other internal stakeholders to develop content, knowledge, and tools for Payer Access colleagues that will support the compliant delivery of value propositions on Pfizer brands with appropriate payer account customers+ Develop, maintain, and update learning journeys and training curriculum on payer access for both payer access team and integrated team content, enabling customer-facing colleagues with the necessary skills to perform their roles+ Manage the design, development, delivery, and continuous updates of training programs for payer access in alignment with customer-facing strategies, engagement skills, coaching constructs, and pre-determined impact and outcome metrics+ Work within the Accounts, Access and Reimbursement team to develop consistent training approaches and curriculum on how an integrated team works together by role, optimizing a team-based approach, and ensuring compliance with the Orange Guide and other applicable company policies+ Conduct engaging training sessions, both virtually and in person, for new-to-role and established payer access colleagues to increase knowledge and skills, and reinforce desired behaviors+ Provide coaching and mentorship to colleagues throughout their training journey+ Ensure all training curriculum has been developed and delivered in compliance with Pfizer legal requirements+ Gather best practices and share across cross-functional stakeholders+ Partner with Learning Experience & Innovation Team to ensure the learning experience is integrated and built from end-to-end.+ Partner with the Learning Effectiveness Team to ensure that the resources - print, eLearning modules, leader-led workshops, presentations, and sustainability programs - are reflective of payer access teams' needs+ Work with Customer Engagement Leadership, Sales Skills & Coaching teams to fill training gaps and emerging needs+ Work with Customer Engagement Strategy & Partnership Team to align on the needs for specific payer access roles as a result of market events / emerging topics identified+ Conduct regular review of training program with key stakeholders to ensure the curriculum meets requirements for engaging with accounts+ Utilize learning technology and manage training courses using Pfizer endorsed platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Pfizer Learning Academy Platform, and Questionmark+ Remain current on evolving US healthcare law risks pertinent to Payer Access with the ability to describe relevant considerations (such as contract adherence, off-label promotion, kickback and inducement risks, value-added resources, pricing considerations, "marketing the spread")**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**+ Bachelor's degree required+ 10+ years of experience in training, sales, payer access account management/related experiences or combination of experiences+ Deep experience and knowledge of payer access and US payer and healthcare market landscape (Medicare, Medicaid, 340B, contracting, care delivery models, buy & bill process, health plans, pharmacy benefit managers, specialty pharmacy, care standardization, protocols, pathways, access policies, etc.)+ Understanding of the biopharma industry and the ability to translate business needs into training strategy+ Experience with and understanding of contracting+ Understanding of Pfizer integrated teams and how to compliantly coordinate across roles for optimal customer approach and outcomes+ People leadership experience within the commercial organization (i.e. sales, account management, marketing etc), either directly or cross-functionally+ Executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders internally and externally+ Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of building partnership, interacting with stakeholders at varying levels, and working collaboratively across functions to meet shared objectives+ Outstanding presentation, facilitation and writing skills+ Ability to develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences+ Experience with coaching individuals to achieve personal and organizational goals+ Project management experience and organizational abilities to simultaneously manage multiple complex projects+ Demonstrated creativity skills, with a track record of creating innovative ideas, developing new and better ways of working+ Ability to make sense of complex information to make sound judgment and decision making with minimal direction+ Track record of holding self and others accountable to meet commitments+ Experience leading a diverse team to achieve common goals, leveraging diverse perspectives+ Ability to understand the business environment and develop solutions accordingly+ Familiarity with Pfizer systems and use of technology in training+ Experience delivering training as field faculty or similar capacity**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**+ Understanding of Pfizer's portfolio+ Experience training payer access colleagues+ Experience in channel management and US payer account management for pharma products+ Working knowledge of payer channels (i.e., plans, PBMs, XChange, State Medicaid, etc) and payer associated drug reimbursement methodologies+ Understanding of sophisticated contracting and large deal negotiation**PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS****NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS****Other Job Details:**+ Last Day to Apply: **August 19, 2024**+ Additional Locations: Any US Remote Location+ Not eligible for Relocation Package+ Eligible for employee referral bonusThe annual base salary for this position ranges from $161,600.00 to $269,400.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
