**ROLE SUMMARY**The Retail Training Design and Delivery Specialist (the "Specialist") oversees the design, development, and implementation of a comprehensive learning program tailored for customer-facing colleagues who work with retail partners, enabling these colleagues with the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to execute effectively.The Specialist will be responsible for curricula design, content development, and training delivery for colleagues working with retail partners. Content spans core customer engagement skills, market insights, and advanced training as applicable, as well as role-specific content for customer-facing colleagues working with retail pharmacies in an integrated approach. Content will also include integrated team curriculum and how these roles operate compliantly and effectively within an integrated account approach in service of market, customer, and brand needs.The Specialist maintains a deep understanding of channel management, retail chain pharmacies, group purchasing organizations, independent retail pharmacy customers, health plans, pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs), health exchanges, government payers, and other related key stakeholder groups influencing the retail environment.The Specialist must possess a deep understanding of the retail landscape, retail-related roles in Pfizer, and how these roles operate compliantly and effectively within an integrated team approach.**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**+ Act as a subject matter expert in B2B engagements, channel management, retail market and drivers of local market events, retail chain pharmacies and/or retail buying group, independent retail pharmacy customers, retail buying models, related product offerings, competitive landscape, buying processes, and other core retail related knowledge as well as expertise in role-specific/area-specific retail training needs which may include maintaining and creating profitable access, leveraging compliant clinical and financial information, leading the coordination of appropriate advocacy, and working cross-functionally to capitalize on synergistic opportunities within assigned accounts+ Maintain knowledge of the process of developing strategic, tactical, and compliant business plans and negotiated contractsthat support products in the retail pharmacy channel and assigned retail accounts - including the implementation of the corresponding legal and business requirements for retail pharmacy customers+ Share retail expertise, knowledge, input and feedback with appropriate internal stakeholders that helps to influence relevant training strategies+ Partner effectively with all internal partners (Customer & Channel Leadership, Access & Reimbursement, Cross Functional working groups, Marketing, Medical, Sales, Regulatory, Legal, Compliance, Government Relations, Public Affairs/Policy, Training, etc) to evaluate and prioritize general and retail-specific training needs and manage demand+ Develop, maintain, and update the strategic learning journeys, training curriculums, and programs on retail and integrated team content, enabling customer-facing colleagues with retail-focused knowledge and tools+ Ensure all training curriculum has been developed and delivered in compliance with Pfizer legal requirements+ Gather best practices and share across appropriate cross-functional stakeholders+ Work with retail and training partners to develop a consistent training approach and curriculum on how an integrated team works together by role, optimizing a team-based approach, and ensuring compliance with the Orange Guide and other applicable company policies+ Conduct engaging training sessions, both virtually and in person, for new-to-role and established retail colleagues to increase knowledge and skills, and reinforce desired behaviors+ Provide coaching and mentorship to retail colleagues throughout their training journey, including developing their capabilities in account management, contracting, and large deal negotiation such as pharmacy benefit contracts and access negotiation with PBMs and intermediaries+ Partner with Learning Experience & Innovation Team to ensure the learning experience is integrated and built from end-to-end.+ Partner with the Learning Effectiveness Team to ensure that the pre-determined impact and outcome metrics are tracked and evaluated and that retail resources - print, eLearning modules, leader-led workshops, presentations, and sustainability programs - are reflective of retail colleagues' needs+ Work with the Customer Engagement Leadership, Sales Skills & Coaching teams to fill training gaps and address emerging needs+ Work with Customer Engagement Strategy & Partnership Team to align on the needs for specific payer access roles as a result of market events / emerging topics identified+ Conduct regular training program reviews with key stakeholders to ensure the curriculum meets requirements for engaging with customers in B2B engagements+ Utilize learning technology and manage training courses using Pfizer endorsed platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Pfizer Learning Academy Platform, and Questionmark+ Remain current on evolving US healthcare law risks pertinent to retail considerations with the ability to describe relevant considerations (such as pricing agreements, off-label promotion, kickback and inducement risks, supply chain management, value-added resources, "marketing the spread")**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**+ Bachelor's degree required+ 10+ years of experience in training, sales, account management, access, retail pharmacy/related experiences or combination of experiences+ Prior account management experience in retail pharmacy or large organized customers+ Deep experience and understanding of channel management, retail pharmacy operations, contracting, coverage, reimbursement, buying processes, payer/managed market customers and their needs, market access for pharmaceuticals, government payment systems, provider/carrier networks, copay assistance programs, Medicare, Medicaid, 340B, health plans, pharmacy benefit managers, and access policies+ Strong understanding of evolving health care policy, financing and delivery, and healthcare landscape in US, including healthcare reform and impact on retail pharmacy customers+ Understanding of the biopharma industry and the ability to translate business needs into training strategy+ Understanding of sophisticated contracting and large deal negotiation+ Understanding of Pfizer integrated teams and how to compliantly coordinate across roles for optimal customer approach and outcomes+ People leadership experience within commercial (i.e. sales, account management, marketing etc.), direct or cross-functional+ Executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders internally and externally+ Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of building partnership, interacting with stakeholders at varying levels, and working collaboratively across functions to meet share objectives+ Outstanding presentation, facilitation and writing skills+ Ability to develop and deliver multi-modal communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences+ Project management experience and organizational abilities to simultaneously manage multiple complex projects+ Demonstrated creativity skills, with a track record of creating innovative ideas, developing new and better ways of working+ Ability to make sense of complex information and make decisions with minimal direction+ Track record of holding self and others accountable to meet commitments and coaching others to achieve individual and organizational goals+ Experience leading a diverse team to achieve common goals, leveraging diverse perspectives+ Ability to understand the business environment and objectives and develop solutions accordingly+ Familiarity with Pfizer systems and use of technology in training+ Experience delivering training as a field faculty/SME**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**+ Understanding of Pfizer's portfolio+ Previous experience training retail customer-facing colleagues+ Experience working with and/or for retail pharmacies**PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS****NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS****Other Job Details:**+ Last Day to Apply: **August 19, 2024**+ Additional Locations: Any US Remote Location+ Not eligible for Relocation Package+ Eligible for employee referral bonusThe annual base salary for this position ranges from $161,600.00 to $269,400.00.
