Strong change management, cultural awareness, and project management skills to formulate and implement a comprehensive localization strategy that aligns with our global growth objectives. Increase brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue by ensuring that content is accurately and effectively adapted for diverse global audiences.**Key Accountabilities**+ Formulate and implement a comprehensive localization strategy that aligns with our global growth objectives.+ Ensure that localized content reflects a deep understanding of different regions’ cultural nuances, idioms, and sensitivities.+ Develop and implement localization strategies that go beyond translations to ensure an authentic local experience for members and guests+ Facilitate two-way communication to ensure global marketing initiatives align with regional customer and leadership expectations.+ Responsible for the translation, localization, and cultural adaptation of content within a fast-paced, matrixed environment+ Demonstrate a customer-centric approach, possess strong analytical skills, and deliver quality work within tight timelines.+ Leverage data analytics and AI-driven tools to dynamically adapt content based on user demographics, preferences, and behaviors.+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and continuous improvement in our localization processes and provide guidance and mentorship to the team.+ Build and maintain relationships with external partners, linguists, and cultural experts to maintain authenticity and relevance on a personal level.+ Develop and streamline agile localization processes to rapidly adapt content to emerging trends and customer preferences.+ Manage the localization translation strategy, focusing on vendor management, the translation process and technology, translation review management, and budget allocation.+ Conduct training sessions to educate internal teams on the importance of personalization and localization in driving global growth.+ Foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing to keep the organization at the forefront of global marketing trends.**Key Skills & Experiences**Education+ Bachelors or Master’s degree in Marketing, International Business, Linguistics, Project Management or similar discipline or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.Experience+ 7 to 10 years of progressive work-related experience in project management, marketing, localization, internationalization, international product development, or international business management experience+ 8+ Years of people and organizational leadership within a global company+ Demonstrated leadership, influencing, and execution skills+ Ability to advise and present to Sr. Leaders across the organization+ Experience in engaging cross functional working partnerships in a global setting+ Experience in enabling and growing talentTechnical Skills and Knowledge+ Strong written and verbal communication skills+ Ability to write and edit copy in a prescribed brand voice+ Strong project management skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize various projects+ Experience in the hotel, travel or retail industry preferred+ Experience of working within a complex business with a range of stakeholders with different needs and with senior roles+ Experience of agency management+ Strong writing skills and creativity+ Ability to work to tight deadlines and juggle multiple projectsLocation: Hybrid - Atlanta office.Join us and you’ll become part of the global IHG family – and like all families, all our individual team members share some winning characteristics.
