In this role, you will manage regional communications and media relations for the U.S. Private Bank, which has offices across the country.**Job responsibilities:**+ Develop and execute comprehensive public relations strategies that align with our business themes and objectives.+ Manage media relations and provide external communications support for the U.S. Private Bank's offices and executives across the country.+ Achieve visibility in trade and local publications, and top-tier mainstream media for our key themes and thought leadership; and collaborate with our social media team to extend coverage to LinkedIn.+ Create content for contributed pieces, draft press releases, and coordinate media events; coach U.S. Private Bank executives to effectively communicate with the press.+ Support organized scheduling for a variety of spokespeople.+ Manage and develop productive relationships with wealth management, markets, and investment beat reporters.+ Monitor, analyze, and showcase media coverage and results in a disciplined and strategic fashion.+ Represent J.P. Morgan U.S. Private Bank PR at internal business meetings.+ Develop and maintain client relationships at senior leadership levels, ensuring effective communication and strategy alignment.+ Contribute to strategy development and execution, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.+ Partner closely with the firm's Regional Corporate Communications team to execute in-market media activity and promote cross-line of business storytelling.**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:**+ 4+ years of media relations experience - in an in-house or PR agency setting (Account Executive or similar level) - with experience in the financial services space.+ Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Media Studies, or a similar degree.+ Experience in all aspects of Public Relations: from creating and presenting a strategy, to writing pitches, pitching, securing opportunities, managing interviews or events, monitoring, and presenting results on a regular basis.+ Exceptional project management and organizational skills required, including the ability to strategically prioritize multiple assignments.+ Ability to proactively pursue and achieve press activity.+ Strong writing and editing abilities, strong eye for detail, and strong communication skills.+ Ability to create and sustain productive relationships with the media, coupled with an uncompromising commitment to ethics and treating journalists with respect.+ Comfortable working in a corporate, business professional environment, with the ability to manage clients at senior leadership levels and work across a large and complex corporation.+ Enthusiastic, keen to learn, self-motivated individual, with an excellent work ethic.+ Happy to be part of a small but industrious in-house team which serves a diverse client base, a collaborative team player.J.P.
