Sr Designer

Senior Designer w/ Pembrooke & Ives, Inc. (NY, NY). Responsible for designing private residences, residential building lobbies, golf clubs, and other spaces. Involved in all stages of design from conceptual ideation and layout development to design development, and construction administration and FFE design, procurement, production and installation. Requires Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field and five (5) years of progressive experience as an Interior Designer, Interior Architect, Architectural Designer, or a related design position. Experience must include: Performing rendering production to represent accurate architectural conditions and materiality; Overseeing FFE installation; Preparing design budgets and project timelines for clients to determine project cost and time horizon; and Utilizing 3D modeling and rendering in Sketchup, Rhinoceros and V-Ray, StudioDesigner (both desktop version and online version), Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator), Bluebeam to mark-up shop drawings and architectural sets, and AutoCAD to create drawings, architectural sets and custom millwork and furniture drawings. Must have experience designing branded interiors, as well as designing large, multifunctional, non-residential interior spaces. Salary range: $100,0000 - $150,000.
