Job Summary:

The Sr. Manager, Social Media is responsible for informing and executing organic social media campaigns and content to drive positive engagement, advocacy, and affinity for the CareSource family of brands. This role will bring stories to life through engaging content that resonates with followers and key stakeholders, and ensures compliance with all state and federal communications requirements.

Essential Functions:Lead the strategy of organic social media contentDevelop an audience-focused campaign and content strategy for all social media channels.Lead, motivate, and develop a team of social media professionalsCollaborate with internal and external partners, including other departments, agencies, and consultantsEnsure content meets all appropriate state and federal communications requirementsManage employee social media training across the organizationConduct audience research and analyze data to inform social media strategiesOversee social media community management and engagementDevelop crisis communication plans and manage response during critical incidentsUtilize social media management tools and analytics platforms to track performance and optimize strategiesPerform any other job-related instructions as requestedEducation and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field is requiredA minimum of seven (7) years of experience in social media communications planning and execution is requiredA minimum of three (3) years of social media management experience, including social content and community management is requiredA minimum if two (2) years in a management or supervisory role is required.Experience in audience research principles, methodology, and analysis is requiredExperience in crisis communication practices is requiredCompetencies, Knowledge and Skills:

Ability to develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies that align with organizational goals.Strong leadership skills to guide, mentor, and develop a social media team.Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practicesKnowledge of general business principles and industry standards.Strong knowledge of campaign planning and business analysis.Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.Expert knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, scheduling tools, and social media analytics.Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages and narratives.Ability to bring stories to life through engaging content that resonates with followers.Strong ability to collaborate with internal and external partners, including other departments, agencies, and consultants.Proficiency in social media analytics tools to assess campaign performance and inform strategy.Excellent organizational and project management skills to oversee multiple initiatives and ensure timely execution.Knowledge of state and federal communications requirements.Strong ability to deliver accurate, quality, error-free content.Licensure and Certification:

General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of timeOccasional travel may be required to meet with partners and attend events.Ability to occasionally work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, for campaign launches and events.Compensation Range:$90,500.00 - $158,400.00CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate's education, training, and experience as well as the position's scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level.
