The passion and energy that made Mortal Kombat a reality is still on display every day in our offices, our hallways and most definitely the studio's arcade room.The JobThis position is for an Associate Producer to be a part of the production team in the day-to-day management of a AAA title that NetherRealm Studios is working on. This position will handle a variety of tasks to include communication with internal teams and external vendors, scheduling and tracking assets and tasks against their designated deadlines, reporting statuses and potential risks, creating or maintaining tracking systems, acting as a coordinator for group meetings, and other emergent tasks related to communication and coordination of the assigned project teams.The DailyPRODUCTION

Ensure that assigned game/team goals and features determined by the Senior/Executive Producers are being metCoordinate processes and pipelines between the various parts of the development teamIdentify (and report) any blocking issues and assist in their resolution

COMMUNICATION

Provide regular status updates for assigned teamsTake meeting notes, and ensure follow up on any action itemsProvide clear and concise communication to other members of the Production team, as well as the team lead groupsAct as a coordination and communication conduit for any outside vendors working on assets for assigned teams

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Manage team member schedules as neededManage relationships and delivery schedules of outside vendors related to assigned elementsProvide project management support for any assigned initiatives

MEDIA

Write and edit media correspondence as requestedWrangle assets for marketing campaigns as needed by marketingProvide support for PR events as requested

The Essentials

At least 2 years of experience working as an Assistant Producer, Project Manager, or Production CoordinatorExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsBasic understanding of production methodologies, both traditional and agileAbility to complete multiple concurrent tasks, with autonomy, in a fast-paced environment

The Nice to Haves

Experience with outsourcingStrong interest in gamesExperience in the video game industryGood understanding of content creation pipelines
