Ticketmaster’s enterprise platform that enables creating and managing worldwide events. Many great details go into each event: from planning to sales, managing entry during the event and post event reports and analysis. As designers at Ticketmaster, we are responsible for ensuring this robust functionality stays simple and elegant. We design for a wide range of devices and roles that together bring amazing entertainment to fans.

THE ROLE

As

Design Director at Enterprise Revenue and Demand , you will be assigned to the Revenue and Demand Platform area, focusing on the tools that enable our clients to enhance their events to reach their full potential. The tools include premium insights and data tools, marketing suite, and dynamic pricing services.

You will manage a team of designers – all responsible for Revenue and Demand tooling. You and your team will be accountable for researching and documenting full processes on various granularity levels while working with other design leads and management to ensure an industry-leading overall client experience.

You will be responsible for managing stakeholder expectations, aligning Design objectives to Product roadmaps, and developing achievable schedules to ensure strategic goals and timelines are met.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership steer and guidance to your team by working closely with leadership across the business to develop our strategic goals, as well as build a tactical plan to deliver value and support development cycle.

Champion the use of core information architecture and design expertise to take product design deliverables through a full project lifecycle.

Lead user/market research, guiding your team to map client’s current and desired flow.

Support your team to scope and lead research and communicate to the wider team the client’s ecosystem in which they operate and help ideate how we can improve our offering.

Use user types, scenarios, journeys, flow/decision maps to produce documentation to convey our Design Vision.

Lead ideation workshops with cross-functional teams.

Generate storyboards and diagrams and/or define the structure for design artefacts to be produced.

Understand how we can utilize Ticketmaster’s brand identity and terminology across the user flow so that it is translated into an intuitive and stylish experience.

Work with the Analytics and product management teams to drive measurable UX decisions.

Collaborate with Product and Engineering leaders to develop your long-term vision and strategic goals for the department.

Manage and mentor a team of Designers, being a role model and inspiration.

Requirements

Thorough grounding in principles, methodology, and practices of Product Design with proven hands-on experience in a working environment, i.e., UX design, UX research, interaction design.

An outstanding portfolio with cross-platform service design works.

Management experience, understanding how to empower and build a successful Design team.

Capable and experienced leader, can help drive ideas into roadmaps and prioritization, set success metrics and measure impact.

Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.

A passion for interaction and customer involvement.

Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.

Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Proactive in learning and being fluent in latest UX trends and technologies.

$180,000.00 USD - $220,000.00 USD
