**About the Role:****Grade Level (for internal use):**09**The Team**Commodity Insights is the leader in market news, pricing, and analysis and is driving innovation in fusing news with analytics. This position offers the chance to emerge as Commodity Insight’s aluminum and battery metals market news leader in the Americas. There is the opportunity to work across commodities (steel and ferroalloys) and delve into subject matter in downstream areas like automotive (including EVs) and other metals end-use markets. There will be developmental opportunities associated with being a member of a strong news team.**Responsibilities and Impact**+ Writes in-depth news and analysis pieces on key developments in Americas metals markets.+ Serves as the Commodity Insights News go-to person and resident expert for all aluminum and battery metals news in the Americas.+ Works with Commodity Insights Market Reporters and Analytics team to enhance stories with proprietary data.+ Liaises with production team to produce graphics to enhance news and analysis pieces.+ Attends conferences and company meetings to learn about important issues.**Compensation/Benefits Information**S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $89,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
