Marketing Intern - SEO - 240161 : N/ADescriptionJob SummaryThis role will support the Digital Marketing team in implementing Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices to improve site traffic. Will evaluate and report on blog entries that perform well and ensure existing content meets SEO best practices. Research industry trends for hot keywords, industry highlights, and label existing content that matches those terms. Will learn to use industry-led tools like Moz, Wordpress, and Google Analytics. This role reports to the Sr. Digital Marketing Manager.Essential FunctionsSpecific responsibilities include but are not limited to:Review and evaluate website content for SEO optimizationApply HTML Tags wherever they are necessary. For example SEO Titles, SEO Descriptions, alt text for images, Headers, and others using Wordpress.Identify existing time-bound content that can be repurposedResearch industry-related keywords and work with the team to implement them into the blogCreate analytics reports from research findingsClean up backlinks and find new opportunities to build backlinks for existing contentAudit existing content to ensure they follow brand guidelinesIdentify any uncategorized content in WPResearch competing organizations for keyword opportunities and content gapsIdentify outdated content on the websitePerform other related projects assignedQualificationsEducation and Experience:Currently enrolled in college or a recent college graduateBroad range of skills and/or knowledge of online and search engine marketing.Skills & Other Requirements:Knowledge of and ability to learn Google Analytics and moz.com.Excellent written, interpersonal, and communicationBonus experience and skills include Adobe Creative Suite and blogging.Experience in various Microsoft Office Suite software applicationsFamiliarity with content creation for digital platforms is strongly desired.Organizational skills and the ability to work independentlyMin: $20 per hour max: $24.00 per hourJob : MarketingPrimary Location : United States-California-Los Alamitos:Schedule : Part-timeJob Type : TemporaryJob Posting : Aug 9, 2024, 8:03:27 AMReq ID: 240161
