Under the general supervision of the College Corps Special Advisor for Fellow Experience, the College Corps Fellow Engagement Lead (AGPA) serves as frontline programmatic support staff for the #CaliforniansForAll College Corps program. The College Corps Fellow Engagement Lead is to support the development and execution of a Statewide Cohort Experience project initiative for all College Corps Fellows whose volunteer efforts will help address the biggest issues facing our state. This position designs and implements a Fellow Ambassador Program in coordination with partner campuses and contractors in furtherance of a Statewide Cohort Experience project initiative. This position also facilitates coordination and peer learning across the colleges and university partners through supporting the development and execution of regional in-person and virtual College Corps events. This effort supports the broader goal of fostering engagement and connection across all California Service Corps programs.

Working Conditions

The positions at GO-Serve may be eligible for telework with in-person attendance based on the operational needs of the position under Government Code Section 14200 for eligible applicants residing in California, subject to the candidate meeting telework eligibility criteria set forth in the GO-Serve Telework Policy and/or future program need."

Department InformationThe Governor's Office of Service and Community Engagement (GO-Serve) elevates paid service and volunteerism in the state, promotes more youth and community engagement, and advances public awareness and outreach campaigns to tackle the state's most pressing challenges. GO-Serve consists of the Office of Community Partnerships and Strategic Communications (OCPSC), California Volunteers (CV), and the Youth Empowerment Commission (YEC).
