Job Summary:

This is a hybrid position requiring commuting to our home office in St. Louis, MO, with up to 30% remote work per quarter.

Annual Compensation Range: $45,000 - $50,000

As the Marketing Specialist,

you will take the lead as the project manager for multiple marketing initiatives, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business goals for retail and eCommerce. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating, managing, optimizing, and distributing content across various channels to drive brand awareness, engage our audience, and support our marketing initiatives. This role requires a big-picture thinker who is creative, with excellent project management, writing skills, a strong understanding of digital marketing, building campaign strategy and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. A Bachelor's degree in Marketing is preferred, with 2-4 years of relevant experience needed.

About You:

Exceptional communicator, collaborating with the marketing team and other departments to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts.

Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns.

You craft compelling brand narratives that resonate with target audiences and build brand loyalty.

Well organized, able to undertake and implement tasks outlined in the marketing plan.

Skilled writer, you excel at creating engaging content across various channels, including website copy, social media posts, email marketing campaigns, blog articles, video scripts, and more.

You champion conversion by crafting compelling marketing campaigns (emails, text messages) that transform audiences into leads and customers.

You're a data-driven content strategist, utilizing market research, trends, and in house data tools to develop fresh ideas and content that drives results.

You seamlessly translate complex information into clear, concise, and engaging messaging that resonates with your audience.

You implement SEO best practices to improve the visibility and ranking of content.

Hold a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent, preferred.

Have proven experience as a Marketing Specialist or similar role.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills:

You're a master collaborator, working closely with the marketing team to develop inbound marketing strategies and ensure content alignment with overall marketing goals.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.

Brilliant short- and long-form writer and storyteller; able to capture a voice in written communications and help shape the internal communications narrative via presentations, scripts, or emails.

Can quickly grasp information across a variety of disciplines and subsequently develop clear communications with minimal guidance.

Proven ability to manage and execute multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced, collaborative, and deadline-oriented environment.

Innovative, comfortable proposing new ideas.

Analytical-minded, capable of developing and creating a program to track success and measure KPIs; provide actionable insights and build solutions.

Proficiency with project management systems, content management systems (CMS) and social media management tools.

Strong understanding of digital marketing, including SEO, social media, and email marketing.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a keen eye for detail.

Willing to adapt and change in response to feedback or to try new methods and strategies.

Qualifications:

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or other related area preferred, not required

Have held marketing and/or communications roles for 2-4 years

Comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Preferred:

Experience with Klaviyo email marketing platform
