It is the Communications Directors mission to profile, build and protect the House’s reputation.Develop and implement the short term ( 3yrs) for the PCDO region with a major focus on the Middle East, India, Turkey and South Africa.Lead ongoing brand communication and engagement strategies for press, talent, influencer, fragrance, and makeup artist communities and construct strategic regional launch plans for major collection and product innovation launches.Oversee major communications and relationship engagement activity in all markets with the objective of elevating brand awareness and driving relevance and sales. Oversee ambassadorships, talent/influencer collaborations, partnerships and event sponsorships for the brand.Ensure any local activations in secondary PCDO markets (total of 35) within communications are reflective of brand expectations. YOUR MISSION ____________Your main assignment will be focused on:KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:PLANNING AND STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT Work directly with Central to lead development of regional communication, talent, influencer, and makeup artist engagement strategies resulting in activity for Dior Beauty to drive brand awareness and consideration establishing Dior as the leading makeup and fragrance brand in the region.strategize brand stories to position Dior Beauty as a leader in cosmetics and develop and execute a strategy to highlight key spokespersons for brand through modern storytelling in print and digital media.Oversee talent/ambassador partnerships, events and partnerships, developing strategies to leverage brand with consumer engagement online, across social and in store.Drive the acceleration of digital, social, and content strategies to reach & recruit new audiences (Gen Z, Millennials), fueling advocacy and brand communities including beauty influencers, external makeup artist and fragrance communities, fashion, and celebrity.Work with other key disciplines at the brand to ensure influencer and makeup artist relations programs are brought to life in a holistic way and have executions with all consumer touchpoints at the brand.Lead conceptualisation of regional image events and collaborations.Determine KPI measurements for influencer activations outside of Earned Media Value and set goals for brand locally in key markets.Work closely with Marketing to establish a long-term collaboration strategy and ideation of activations.Lead development of the Communications strategies and presentations engaging management and other departments.Establish ROI of initiatives - as part of this monitor and evaluate results by market within Orient region and develop a consistent reporting structure.Lead appropriate analytics tools to optimize social media performance & content strategies. Focus on increasing brand engagement metrics, share of voice, and market share.Continually evolve the department structure to meet the changing needs of brand & media/influencer landscape and help talent recruit in key regions.Demonstrate leadership with teams by motivating them to drive results for brand.Oversee budget development creation and implementation.Crisis Communications – operate a strategic approach to lead internal and external communications during periods of instability. MARKETS Define overarching strategies for regions to tailor for major product innovation and collection launches.Help key markets define communications and engagement opportunities, challenges, and priorities - key markets include South Africa, India and Turkey.Advise Orient regional markets on how to tailor and implement influencer and artist relations programs and deliver a strong ROI. COACHING Drive and support the required development / coaching of the teams towards success.Help to identify high potential talent within the teams and develop career plans to motivate, develop and grow their talents to best support the brand. Profile WHO YOU ARE _________ 12-15 years public relations/communications experience in both agency and in-house with an international luxury beauty brandStrong network of editor-in-chief, publisher and talent manager relationships across regionUnderstanding of digital communications and social mediaProven ability to lead, mentor and develop a teamExcellent written and communications skills are paramountSolid organisational skills, visual skills, ability to prioritize and strong attention to detailAbility to convey, adapt / exchange, influence, negotiate
