Successful consumer products company continues to expand. Many opportunities.Prospective Candidate must live in the Chicago, Illinois area (office is located in Northbrook, Illinois). The position is an in-office position.As the Trade Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for our overall portfolio assessment & optimization for the company's brands. In this role, you will work cross functionally with numerous cross-functionals teams to identify opportunities based on market and customer dynamics to support sustainable and profitable growth.As the Trade Marketing Manager, you will be the internal voice of the customer team across the entire commercialization process and the external voice of the Marketing team across the Sales team and customers. You will have many high visibility opportunities across the organization and this role will allow you to make a large impact on the business.Being the voice of the customer to the internal HQ team and being the voice of HQ to SalesWill become lead consultant and representative for respective channels, ensuring consideration of marketplace dynamics for respective customers are taken into account as projects, initiatives or issues ariseWill represent Sales in internal meetingsWill represent our consumer brands in customer meetings as needed, making sure we properly communicate and deliver company strategyDeveloping an overall multi-channel Go-To-Market StrategyYou will spearhead case pack & pricing architecture across National Channels (Mass, Grocery & Ecom) partnering with other departments such as Sales, Marketing, CreativeLeading the development of "best in class" standards for respective channels (considerations include, but are not limited to packaging, design, value architecture, etc)Leading the relationship with Sales from a Trade Marketing standpoint to support the different strategies by channel, Developing channel specific marketing and support initiativesExecute the Path to Purchase fundamentals in this channel; including but not limited to category captain insights

Developing a successful innovation StrategyWill represent Sales internally for innovation Strategy, for both long term and short term innovation projectsWork closely with all departments to implement path to purchase and influence the organization to execute itPartner with Demand Planning and Innovation Forecasting

Leader in Best in Class selling toolsDeliver Best in class Seling Stories to implement both Base and Innovation StrategyLead all materials for Brand Growth Plans and National Sales MeetingsDevelop channel specific selling Decks, supporting Sales for Line Revies and any customer meetingsPartner with cross functional teams to develop Best in Class Innovation selling stories, Selling Sheets, One pagers, etcPartner with all departments on other tools like Portfolio Trackers, SKU prioritization list and any Perfect Store initiatives
