Primary Job Purpose :The marketing coordinator contributes to the existing marketing and brand management program while assisting with developing new initiatives aligned with the bank's strategic marketing, brand management, and growth goals. The marketing coordinator performs various marketing functions within a growing community bank and its subsidiary mortgage company, including public relations, client experience, advertising, branding, events, research and reporting, lead tracking, and campaign management. This role involves creative, analytical, and administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of marketing efforts to enhance the bank's brand presence and customer engagement while meeting tight deadlines. This position reports to the VP of Marketing & Brand.Primary and Essential Job Responsibilities :Assist in developing and implementing the bank's marketing and brand strategy, ensuring all marketing and brand efforts achieve immediate and long-term strategic goals.Prepare marketing and brand management reports and metrics for measuring department success.Support the maintenance and development of internal tools, including lead generation databases, market and customer research, competitive analysis, campaign results, customer and prospect journeys, and pipeline development activity.Assist the digital marketing manager in maintaining bank digital and social media assets and manage SEO efforts and digital calendars.Maintain industry competency through workshops, research, seminars, American Bankers Association events, and other local resources.Daily & Monthly Responsibilities :Support the marketing and branch network and mortgage company teams in evaluating and establishing the marketing and brand management plan by assembling product and market forecasts, setting weekly and monthly marketing objectives, planning and organizing activities and events, and updating the marketing calendar to reflect accomplishments and key results.Communicate marketing and brand objectives, tactics, timelines, and deliverables to internal stakeholders and the management team, and receive and implement feedback.Plan and execute marketing events, Webinars, podcasts, and sponsorships, managing logistics, vendor relations, follow-up, and post-event analysis efforts.Coordinate projects, audits, and improvements related to the bank's brand management strategy.Create and coordinate the production of marketing materials, ensuring brand consistency and high-quality standards.Continually seek and research new sources of prospective customer data, provide recommendations to marketing and internal teams, and coordinate updates on internal tracking software.Compile and distribute a monthly marketing and brand management report indicating key results, adjustments to the marketing plan and budget, vendor management updates, and insights into other key performance indicators necessary to the continued success of the department.Interpersonal / Team Skills :Positive attitude and ability to take direction and accept constructive feedback.Keep appropriate stakeholders informed of project status, problems, issues, etc.Negotiate and attempt to resolve conflicts around projects or work assignments; communicate problems to manager as needed.Minimum Job Requirements :Required skills and experience:Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications or a similar field of study.3 to 5 years of related job experience in the financial industry, including community or mortgage banking.Demonstrated competency with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and CRM systems.Detail-oriented and analytical thinker.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.Effective verbal and written communication skillsExperience with marketing budget tracking and forecasting.Understanding of regulatory requirements in the financial industry.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and as part of a cohesive team.Ability to meet tight project deadlines.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Working Conditions:Full-time position with considerable travel for events and meetings.May require occasional evening or weekend work within Salt Lake, Utah, and Washington counties to meet deadlines or to manage and attend events.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
