Do you love learning about wine? We are searching for an organized, driven, creative-minded Public Relations Coordinator to be an essential part of our Public Relations team. This position will work closely with the entire PR team to keep things on track in a fast-paced environment and support promotional strategies across our portfolio of world-class wines. This position is based in Santa Rosa, CA.What You’ll Be Doing

Team Coordination & Logistics

Work with PR leadership to execute PR initiatives, coordinating with relevant internal departments, agencies, and vendors.Support in the execution of tactics aligned with PR strategies.Compile PR reports from various systems and consolidate for senior leaders.Track monthly PR budgets with core responsibilities of invoice coding, auditing, routing, and balancing.Participate in ideation and development on annual PR plans.Ideate on messaging, copywriting, photo/video shoots to meet content needs.Manage event logistics, and attend as needed.Media Relations

Manage tasting calendar and submissions to key wine scoring outlets: Wine Spectator, Robert Parker Wine Advocate, Wine Enthusiast Magazine, etc.Input data, manage, and maintain wine acclaim databases for all brands.Assist in coordinating portfolio-wide tastings with key wine critics.Monitor press coverage/manage press clippings and alert PR team accordingly.Work directly with PR team and shipping warehouse to submit daily wine sample requests.Work closely with PR team to research and build target media lists.Gather editorial calendars and manage opportunities for PR team.Develop itineraries and media briefs for winemaker travel, interviews, and speaking opportunities.Keep up to date on media landscape, new media outlets, journalists, sommeliers and influencers, as well as trends and promotional opportunities.Ideate on storytelling opportunities, media pitches, and influencer programs.Coordinate and develop creative media mailers for seasonal pitching.Required Experience & Skills:

Love wine!High integrity.2-3 years in public relations, at an agency, or related experience.Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Cision.Organizational skills: team coordination, agendas, reporting, budget management, etc.Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail.Multi-tasking skills.Strong collaboration skills.Data-entry skills.Creative aptitude.Knowledge and passion for wine, the industry and distribution network: DTC, 3-tier, etc.Coordination experience such as event planning a plus.Demonstrated interpersonal communication and analytical skills.Positive, proactive attitude, takes initiative and follows up.Independent self-starter.Sense of humor, likes to have fun.Wage Transparency:

The base salary for this role ranges from $65,000 to $72,000 annually. Compensation will be determined by candidate experience, skills, and location.Benefits:
