Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the leading payments provider for businesses and corporations of all sizes. The US Small Business and Middle Market segment (SME – Small and Medium Enterprise) is the largest GCS customer segment, with tremendous growth momentum, and continues to be a key area of investment and focus for our company.

The Tele Sales Marketing & Enablement team is part of the Managed Marketing Prospect organization in GCS. This team is focused on delivering essential value to US SME Prospects and Customer-Facing Colleagues through best-in-class B2B marketing.

The Sr. Manager, US SME Tele Sales Marketer will work to advance the team’s mission to deliver a best-in-class B2B marketing and sales experience to convert valuable business prospects through our Tele Sales channel. The individual will lead channel innovation & marketing operations for Tele Sales teams with a focus on growing our US SME customer base while maximizing efficiency and overall profitability. The individual will partner closely with Sales & cross-functional teams (i.e. Product, Tech, Finance, SPT, Analytics, Risk, Demand Gen Marketing, External Partners, Legal, Compliance, etc.) to launch strategic initiatives to deliver an optimal prospect-centric B2B acquisition experience.

The candidate will require the ability to operate in a highly matrixed environment, learn complex internal American Express systems/processes, collaborate across teams, influence across all levels of leadership and successfully manage many projects and deadlines at an incredibly fast pace.

Key Responsibilities

Launch marketing strategies related to lead-generation and lead-warming, innovative offers, optimized products/solutions and relevant & compelling content/collateral to accelerate Revenue Growth for the channel.Leverage insights & data to identify potential gaps and opportunities to optimize the US SME prospect experience with Tele Sales.Identify opportunities to deliver an elevated call experience with a focus on efficiency, quality and compliance.Oversee marketing execution & channel operations including scripting, email creatives, Salesforce updates, source code creation, results reporting and overall general channel management.Enable Field Tech Investments & Critical Selling Tools (e.g. Outreach, ONE.force) to elevate marketing strategies that drive sales efficiencies, increase contact rate and shorten the sales cycle.Build and manage strategic relationships with Sales to consistently deliver on key goals.Engage, influence and advocate for Sales with all relevant cross-functional partners to gain buy-in and approvals necessary to launch strategic initiatives across the prospect decision-making journey, from lead generation to conversion.Lead one full-time Analyst.

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of marketing experience.Extremely detail oriented and able to handle multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment.Strong background in reporting, analytics & strategic insights.Creative, goal-oriented professional with a proven track record for driving innovation and setting effective plans to achieve targets.Experience in project management with the ability to juggle many deadlines & work streams preferred.Collaborative self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Customer-focused mindset; excited and passionate about creating a great sales experience.Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing preferred (or equivalent).

Preferred Qualifications

People leadership a plus.Understanding of US SME organization a plus.

Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
