Experience Designers are responsible for the design of digitally enabled products and services. You will use your broad skillset across the service, interaction, and visual design domains to craft holistic design solutions, from early-stage idea generation through detailed design of product service features and user stories in a digital product.

Are you the right candidate for this opportunity Make sure to read the full description below.As a Senior Experience Designer, you are expected to represent depth in the craft of experience design: as an individual contributor, as a mentor and guide for more junior colleagues, and as a contributor to the community of practice. You will often be the backbone of your projects from beginning to end. You will plan, prioritize, and deliver service design activities autonomously, in the context of cross-functional projects. You will lead client conversations within your domain, providing articulate recommendations and helping guide client choices.In this specific role, you will join a bustling and collaborative team that leads the digital product discovery and design for a global Quick Service Restaurant – one that feeds 1% of the world’s population every single day. You will play a central role in the entire lifecycle of a digital product, from research through detailed design, partnering closely with Product Management and Engineering (who are as passionate about product as they are burgers and fries). Your product areas might be focused on things like mobile ordering, loyalty, kiosk, crew facing restaurant technology, or web, just to name a few. This is a hybrid position; three days per week you’ll link up with your team IRL at this global company’s headquarters in Chicago’s burgeoning West Loop.Your fellow team members will rely on you to:Embrace being a self-starter with high agency, diving deep into the entire product design lifecycle, from user research to detailed designPartner with other designers, product managers, and technology leads to drive alignment around user needs, and rally around lovable and feasible customer-first solutionsBe able to zoom out to define holistic digital product and convergent experience concepts, in collaboration with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Strategy, Operations, etc.)Be curious and connect the “why” behind design decisions to the business’s goalsBring clarity to all through your design craft, especially when things feel ambiguousApply systems thinking into actionable user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designsThrive in a team that values open sharing of WIP and is committed to a culture of collective brainstormingSupport a successful knowledge transfer of designs to the development team, co-writing component specifications with adherence to accessibility standardsIn this role, you will:Understand goals, business requirements and constraints, market opportunities and user needs to help define opportunity areas and experience requirementsPlan, conduct, and synthesize research, testing and prototyping with users and SMEsDesign wireframes, screens, and prototypes to illustrate product behavior along defined use casesMap existing and future experiences, both front and backstage users who are involved, through journey maps, blueprints, and ecosystem mapsTogether with cross-disciplinary teams, create digital product experiences that push the bar for the current and future customer and user experienceHelp define new product/service value propositions and influence roadmapsCraft compelling narratives that bridge user aspirations with business objectivesDesign wireframes, screens, and prototypes to illustrate product behavior along defined use casesMentor and develop other designersWe want you to have:8+ years of professional experience in experience/interaction design (although you might have had a different job title, like “UX Designer”), and a robust practical and theoretical grounding in experience design through your studies or through your previous experienceAbility to work onsite at company headquarters in Chicago three days per weekFamiliarity with articulating and incorporating accessibility standards and guidelines into design documents and specificationsA passion for understanding customer and user needs, as well as experience working with UX researchers and conducting UX researchExemplary core design skills, demonstrated in your portfolio of recent workA love of learning new things and growing your skills by diving in head-first to the task at handExcellent presentation skills, with a strong ability to clearly explain your work to othersExperience collaborating in cross-functional teamsA deep knowledge of and expertise using design and prototyping tools (such as Figma) and design language systemsAffinity for frog’s values, and a passion for creating products that meet peoples’ functional and emotional needsExperience working in an agile product delivery environmentBusiness level ability to conduct business in EnglishPenchant to nerd-out on design and emerging trendsAbout frog, apart of Capgemini Invent
