Chief Product Officer , the
Design Director
will expertly and imaginatively drive the evolution of our e-commerce website design and user experience. In this role, you will champion the strategy and execution of breakthrough, delightful design.You will:
Drive the holistic user experience across our e-commerce websites of Begin and its sub-brands, through effective, impactful, and delightful UX / VX / UI.Manage, inspire, and evolve a cross-functional team of graphic and UX designers.Develop strategies and roadmaps for continuous evolution of user ecomm experience.Oversee conceptual development including sketches, wireframes, storyboards, and visual designs to finished product.Drive a culture of exploration, brainstorming, competitive benchmarking, and user testing to evolve and validate design decisions, identify opportunities, and ensure ongoing results.Coordinate and collaborate with key cross-functional teams across Marketing, Product management, Monetization, Engineering, Digital and Tangible Product Design, Learning, Customer Care, and CRM to ensure effective and timely project execution.Work closely with Marketing Creative teams to ensure cohesive and effective storytelling, and provide marketing collateral as needed.Manage internal and external resources and budgets, product roadmaps, prioritization and schedules.Foster industry best practices across core disciplines.Improve and develop internal processes.Must Haves:
9+ years of experience in a relevant combination of creative art direction, web design, and UX / VX / UI design management.BA in Interactive Design, Graphic Arts, Computer Science, or a related field.A strong eye and dynamic thinker who can quickly assess and identify strengths and opportunities across graphic design, motion graphics, video, illustration, photography, layout, and funnel flow.Deep understanding of user/viewer design principles.Experience managing and developing a creative team, as well as external creative vendors.Strategic and creative thinker who can absorb disparate inputs and synthesize effective plans and solutions.Executive presence with ability to inspire and guide across all levels of the organization.Highly self-motivated and will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that requires an ability to learn and adapt quickly.Excellent communication and presentation skills that can be adapted for audiences at all levels across the organization.We like people who:

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location and other relevant factors.
