All potential candidates should read through the following details of this job with care before making an application.Position Summary:Trillium Brewing Company is seeking a dynamic Director of Sales & Marketing to join our team! Be a part of our premier New England farmhouse food and beverage group, where compelling storytelling and striking visuals come together. The Director of Sales & Marketing will be instrumental in driving sales and marketing efforts through innovative strategies and will report directly to the CEO of Trillium and work primarily out of our Canton location.Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesSales and ProfitabilityCreating and driving the sales strategy of our beer and spirits, through our own Direct to Consumer channels, Wholesale, and in house RetailAccountable for the quality and management of wholesale partnershipsDesign annual product release schedule to optimize sales and production efficienciesEvaluate, recommend, and implement key sales processes and workflowsOptimize product availability at each location based on available storage constraints and location-specific sales mixEnsure sales readiness for all products with appropriate education and training materialsDesign product placement in our own retail outlets in conjunction with Director of Food & BeverageIdentify new market and growth opportunities with sales strategies to drive revenue growthOversee business performance through wholesale partnerships, actively engaging with distributors and ensuring consistent adherence to brand standardsMarketing

Accountable for developing and implementing Trillium's comprehensive marketing strategy, collaborating with internal stakeholders, to achieve the organization's goalsDevelop and implement an integrated and consistent strategic communications plan to advance our brand identity. Broaden awareness of our products, programs, and values, identify and reach new target audiences, and increase Trillium's social media presence and the visibility of our products across key audiencesGrow, engage, and maintain a community of our brand's supporters across all social platforms through compelling short and long-form storytelling, and lead the creation of digital assets that accurately reflect our existing brands values, including video, photography, copywritingDefine and lead a media and PR strategy that develops new, and maintains existing, relationships to authentically increase our exposure, amplify our brand, and tell our brand's story, assessing impact through clear KPIs that enable the team to clearly gauge strategy effectivenessCollaborate with internal and external partners to design in-person and virtual activations and events, optimizing revenue generating opportunities in support of the brand-building activations, including product and merchandise salesDevelop new, and maintain existing, brand-aligned external partnerships. Evaluate and recommend sponsorship opportunities through data-driven proposals intended to achieve Trillium's goalsAccountable for the design and generation of consistent and high-quality content by our creative team, in collaboration with external partners, including all printed and digital collateralIdentify challenges and emerging issues faced by the organization and industry as a whole and monitor customer communications to offer insight and provide analysis of how internal and external feedback can affect positive change to operations, product, and spaces. Work with leadership and Marketing teams to recognize communications opportunities and solutions, and execute appropriate strategies to support themAccountable for the strategy and financial performance of Direct-to-Consumer sales through our web platform. Optimize website and digital shopping platform to enhance the virtual consumer experience, maintaining website accuracy and performanceLeadership

Minimum 6+ years of sales experience with consumer retail productsAlcohol beverage sales experience required; direct to consumer experience preferredProven experience in product launchesStrong understanding of consumer behaviors influenced by product packaging, pricing strategy, and consumer psychologyKnowledge, Skills & Abilities

Exceptional organizational skills, detail-oriented with process-oriented thinkingStrong capacity to both lead and participate in cross-functional teams to define issues and agree on processes, strategies, and outcomesA self-motivated approach, with strong work ethic, requiring limited oversightAbility to travel between various Trillium locations throughout New EnglandFlexibility to work remotely one day per week, otherwise reports out of our Canton locationBenefits
