The VP – Marketing is a part of the Senior Leadership Team at Printique, who will head up all Revenue, Traffic and Customer acquisition for Printique, the premier online provider of high-quality photo printing and personalization solutions (#1 rated for photo geeks by Wired.com and DigitalCameraWorld.com). As part of the Executive Leadership team at Printique, you will create and implement a marketing operating plan and multi-year revenue delivery strategy aligned with our refreshed vision. Leading Performance Marketing, Branding & Creative functions, you will need to understand cost-effective ways to get in front of different customer segments, build out both social channels & photography/digital-art centered communities, create greater customer engagement and judiciously scale the company through profitable new customer acquisition.In this role, you will be managing a mix of in-house and third-party digital marketeers, as well as partnering with the Leadership Team at Printique and its parent company, Adorama, to build out Printique’s premium Brand Story, as part of the Adorama portfolio. You will help the team optimize daily customer transactions for all acquisition channels through personalized communications, behavior-based targeting and expand share of mind-space across each stage of the customer lifecycle, for both the Consumer and the Professional customer segments. You will also be leading strategy and execution of large cross-channel marketing & B2B sales programs, and relentlessly experimenting and championing innovative approaches in a continuously evolving and dynamic environment. This highly visible leader will unite with the Digital Product, Merchandising and Operations teams at Printique to develop a cohesive customer-centered experience that leverages Printique (and Adorama’s) unique heritage as an ecommerce pioneer in the photography space, while broadening our appeal to include Millennials and Gen Z customers, and positioning us for the next-generation of photography and digital art enthusiasts.As a digitally centered ecommerce business, the VP - Marketing at Printique will be directly responsible for full funnel marketing activities including telling the Brand Story, Creative, Email, SEO, SEM, Blogs, Partnerships, Social Communities, Influencer Marketing, Affiliates, Referrals, PR and Analytics. Working collaboratively with peers across Digital Product, Operations, Finance, Engineering, Technology, and Customer Service, you will help bring together Printique’s go-to-market strategy. This role will be responsible for driving qualified traffic and revenue growth, increasing profitable new customer acquisition and ensuring customer retention, while delivering targeted LTV and Net Margins.Additionally, this role will also be a key stakeholder in influencing the design of our annual digital and e-commerce roadmap in concert with our technology team, to bring a differentiated offering to market, while optimizing conversion and customer satisfaction across our website, mobile, and emerging digital channels, optimizing customer cost of serve at each point.KEY CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTESWe are looking for a versatile digitally-native leader to drive profitable growth by tackling ambitious projects that span both traditional channels (like Search Engines, Email, Blog, FB, Youtube etc) as well as new & evolving channels (including Tik Tok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Reddit and AI). On the one hand, you should be an Organized Creator yourself, with a passion for developing the brand story by tapping into both our legacy as well as the zeitgeist, while on the other you need to be an Analytical Guru, equally skilled at diving into digital details, and distilling customer insights.With experience in both ecommerce and DTC, you will be expected to outline trade-offs between long-term (e.g. LTV) vs. short-term (e.g. ROAS) outcomes as well as clearly communicate goals, roles, and responsibilities. Most of all, you are truly Humble, in spite of all that you have achieved, eager to continue learning and growing.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDelivering against goals for B2C/B2B/B2B2C channels by developing and implementing a full-funnel marketing strategy.Accountable for profitable Sales, Traffic and Customer Engagement at Printique.com for all Performance & Social channels incl SEO, SEM, Email, Organic & Paid, Social, Video & Influencers, Referrals and Partnerships.Plan, track and control the development and deployment of annual Marketing spend and administrative budgets (incl business operations, staffing, and purchasing) in line with overall company P&L.Create and communicate the company’s Brand & Marketing strategy by prioritizing initiatives and coordinating the evaluation, deployment & management of campaigns.Drive Growth Hacking and scale through data analysis as well as deeper understanding of emerging channels as well as our customer segments and the overall Creator space.Nurture social communities focused on Digital Creators and engage them across channels (web, mobile, social channels etc) making the discovery journey highly relevant, educational and exciting, leveraging Printique and Adorama’s premium content.Advance opportunities for greater efficiencies for the Adorama company, as a whole, by developing marketing solutions for Printique that leverage and reinforce the overall Adorama customer base.Develop Partnerships with Affiliate, Referral and other complementary business models.Achieve and maintain excellent relationships with Operations, Digital Product, Engineering, Technology & Customer Service teams at Printique through very high levels of engagement and open-minded partnership.Build & empower the Marketing team, while actively managing third-party relationships to realize scale benefits and maximize return on investment.Drive innovative thinking and stay abreast of marketing hot topics and technologies, initiating software discussions when appropriate, partnering with Product & Technical teams to develop platforms & tools that enable channel management and program growth.Participate in Printique's overall strategic plan and contribute as a key input provider helming profitable Sales growth and Customer Loyalty.Act as an anchor point for the company’s customer-focused culture.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSThe ideal candidate will have a well-rounded-Marketing background as well as a progressive history of building and scaling successful premium DTC retailers. Creativity, strategic planning and analytical skills, are key building blocks while maturity, high-level of judgement (paired with open-mindedness) and ability to influence are essential to success. Strong leadership, planning and time/people management skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills (at ease presenting to large groups and executive teams) are key requirements. High standards of Professionalism and Integrity coupled with a hunger to make an impact and continue growing personally and professionally are critical qualities for success!DESIRED EXPERIENCE:10+ years of hands-on experience as a senior leader driving Marketing with a growth-oriented DTC E-commerce company, as well as building digital Communities (incl Tik Tok, Youtube, Facebook, Instagram) through organic and paid media.Demonstrated passion for taking on ambitious, complex challenges and driving high-quality, innovative, and robust campaigns to scale them successfully through profitable new customer acquisition.5+ years of end-to-end Marketing Budget and Team ownership of a profitable and growing early-stage business.Grassroots knowledge of digital marketing best practices (including working hand-in-hand with technical teams) to build out Content and drive Direct & Organic traffic through SEO improvement.Expertise in Influencer space & Viral videos, along with creative and strategic growth mind-set to guide the brand & community vision.Strong understanding of SEM levers and Paid media/Video Ads with a premier financial analytics competency that can rationalize digital marketing spend based on ROAS vs CPC.Ability to visualize the interaction between Content, Digital Marketing, Performance & Social Marketing & Digital Product.Excellent planning and prioritization skills with an ability to look around the corner and avoid time-crunches.Proven track record of leading cross-channel teams, composed of both in-house and third-party providers.Exceptional leadership skills to build, and retain a talented team of professionals passionate about the customers, in a digitally native environment.BONUS POINTS15+ years of DTC/B2C Marketing & Brand strategy.Energetic leader who can roll-up the sleeves to dive into the trenches as well as energize organizational transformation and drive talent development.Knowledge of photography and printing.Startup experience.MBA in Marketing, or equivalent experience desirable.This role requires three on-site days weekly to ensure in-person collaboration, improved communication, effective teamwork, and real-time problem solving to enhance team synergy and productivity. A standard 40-hour work week is expected.The salary range for this role is $200,000 to $250,000. The rate will be determined based on overall skills and experience. This position is eligible for a bonus.
