The Director of Marketing leads the commercial marketing efforts by providing strategic leadership and successful implementation of The Village’s strategies and tactics. Working directly with restaurant, hotel, retail, events, and residential business leaders, the Director of Marketing leads the execution of commercial marketing plans that are aligned with brand standards and designed to drive customer traffic and brand loyalty. This leader is responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of marketing strategies, tactics & programs to provide feedback and collaborate with the global senior leadership group to influence the evolution of programs, systems, and processes.

Responsibilities:

Enforce The Village’s brand standards.Works collaboratively with The Village’s business portfolio leadership to develop & implement marketing plans that include specific marketing objectives (Sales, Customers, ROI & Brand Loyalty goals).Management and development of The Village’s commercial marketing team and agency partners.Develops and maintains a detailed marketing budget that outlines all costs affecting the venue-level marketing spend; responsible for managing period financial results.Ensures the marketing team has the necessary tools and systems to support the restaurants, including marketing plans, media, and sponsorships.Collaborates with the Executive Director of Marketing and media planning agency partners to develop and execute plans that build awareness, drive traffic, and address market dynamics.Identifies opportunities to drive traffic and build brand awareness through grassroots marketing efforts.Works alongside the residential team to create resident engagement programs, venue-visit incentives, and owned channel communication best practices.Work alongside The Village’s marketing team and agency partners to create and deploy scalable marketing assets. Oversee marketing asset creation, deployment, and usage in commercial venues.Strategic execution with agency partners of the ongoing development, enhancement, and maintenance of commercial web properties and brand websites.In collaboration with the Digital Marketing Manager, oversee The Village’s commercial digital marketing efforts across all social media networks.Drive strategy and execution to grow The Village’s fan base and consumer engagement across owned channels.Work with The Village marketing team and agency partners to evolve and improve SEM strategies that deliver measurable results against specific initiatives.

Requirements:

7+ years of marketing management experience in a multi-unit restaurant or retail environment.Experience in event marketing within an entertainment, sports, or public assembly facility setting.Knowledge and experience working with paid media and sponsorships.Knowledge and experience managing local traditional and non-traditional media relationships.Knowledge of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex marketing landscape.Self-driven and flexible with strong written and verbal communication skills.Able to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaboratively.Microsoft Proficient: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.Strong financial acumen with experience managing large marketing budgets.Entrepreneurial, sales-driven spirit.Self-starter, organized, and able to manage multiple projects.Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.Ability to establish goals and convert plans into action.Data-driven and results-oriented.
