Responsibilities

The FSU Office of Digital Learning (ODL) is seeking a talented graphic and web design specialist to join our team as we support quality online instruction at Florida State University. We offer a collegial, innovative work culture that's passionate about excellence, quality, and collaboration. As a graphic and web design specialist, you'll be responsible for creating original layouts and designs for a variety of print and digital media, including mass and targeted emails, newsletters, and social media. You'll work closely with subject matter experts, instructional designers, communications staff, and media production staff to design and develop webpages, update web content, and utilize web, social, and email analytics to develop reports on the effectiveness of ODL's communications.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree and two years of experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience. (Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years.)

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in appropriate area, preferably graphic design.Knowledge of graphic layout techniques and art in digital format, basic web design and practices; current media technology and trends.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign).Strong portfolio showcasing diversity of work.
