SES is seeking a talented Director of Marketing to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a skilled marketing strategist with a passion for developing and implementing unique marketing techniques and business development approaches. The successful candidate is committed and dedicated, responsible, focused, detail-oriented, able to adjust in a fast-paced working environment, collaborate well with other staff members with a shared vision and demonstrate excellent organizational communication skills. This position will be based in our Woburn, MA location. For exceptional candidates, this can be a remote position.

Responsibilities

Lead a comprehensive marketing, communications and public relations program that will enhance the Organization’s image and position and facilitate internal and external communications.

Lead market research, content development, digital advertising, paid media, collateral development, and tradeshow messaging.

Develop and execute company messaging and identify new ways to approach the market and expand existing contacts and engagements in the industry.

Create valuable content for the company's online presence, editorial design, and organize the company's publications.

Lead social media strategy, manage copy/content creation and metrics analysis.

Website oversight, maintenance, analytics and content creation and refresh.

Manage marketing and communications agencies and vendors, if any.

Qualifications

BS/BA in business administration, marketing, communications, or relevant field.

Proven experience as a marketing leader with a track record of success.

Battery or E-Mobility industry experience is a plus.

Strong leadership and organizational skills with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to speak at conferences, webinars, etc. with excellent presentation skills.

Excellent writing and publishing skills in national publications.

Analytical and creative thinking skills.

Thorough knowledge of current and online marketing techniques and best practices.
