Position Summary

As VP, Product Marketing & Enablement, you will lead a talented group of product marketing managers and the commercial enablement team to drive growth and competency in our Commercial Organization. You will work closely with our VP of Marketing and Chief Product Officer to define the market approach and positioning for products and packages, perform segmentation of the market understanding its composition, and lead successful product launch campaigns.

From an Enablement standpoint, you will oversee a robust, high-touch onboarding and continuing education program for our Commercial teams and develop high-quality product training for our customers to enable them to meet their goals.

As VP of Product Marketing & Enablement, you and your team will:

Create holistic product marketing and product launch roadmaps including well-defined market requirements, product positioning, value propositions, product naming, launch planning, and messaging.Define the market opportunity for products, including segmentation and competitive analysis.Write and socialize the following product-level documents: marketing plan, sales enablement plan, launch plan, solution handbook.Work constructively and seamlessly with cross-departmental verticals including, but not limited to, Product, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, Customer Support, and Operations, to create Sales Enablement plans.Provide market insights to drive the development of campaign strategies including demand creation and reputation building.Serve as market-facing SME/thought leader for the product/company/industry and interface with industry analysts as the company representative.Create product retention and upsell/cross-sell product positioning to accelerate product adoption and mitigate cancel/down-sell risk.Monitor and report on the performance of products in the market and communicate the results of related sales and marketing efforts.Optimize Commercial team onboarding and certification materials and process.Coordinate large, in person and/or virtual events that focus on the development and training of the broader Commercial team.Lead the creation of training frameworks, materials, templates, and standards that scale – this includes drafting, editing, maintaining, and publishing documents, videos, and interactive courses for internal and external audiences.Produce and manage learning paths in our Learning Management System (LMS)Curate our digital library of relevant learning content and train on new features and product launches.Develop customer references, testimonials and case studies for external and internal use.Thoughtfully mentor and elevate teammates in their self-confidence, public speaking, organizational habits, and understanding of technology.

Who You Are

15+ years of leadership experience across Marketing, Product, Training, and/or Sales functionsBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferableProven leader with strong written and oral communication skills, and an ability to influence and collaborate cross-functionally.Deep understanding of sales and marketing processes, customer behavior, and market trendsStrong management skills across functions including marketing planning, vendor management, presentation skills, and event/budget planning.Strong ability to prioritize, focus, simplify, and execute large scale initiatives and campaigns.

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only)

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $143,100 to $258,600. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographical location as well as experience and qualifications for the role.In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
