As the Senior Director of Business Development & Marketing – New Listing Pitch Team, you’ll wear multiple hats – you’ll be client-facing, manage a team of marketers, researchers, brand designers, and lead a cross-team effort to quarterback an end-to-end pitch process for all IPOs – and lead the team that is responsible for shaping the way Nasdaq attracts new clients and retains existing ones through brand positioning, visual identity, design and development of customized sales presentations, pitch decks, and other collateral.

Job Description

We are looking for a creative and strategic leader who can combine expertise in storytelling, design, and business strategy to lead a team that delivers high-quality materials that effectively communicate Nasdaq’s value proposition and ultimately drive conversion. You must be passionate about telling our story – and those of our clients – in a strategic way that aligns Nasdaq’s listing offerings with client objectives and market trends.

In this role, you will be responsible for:Directing and coordinating multiple inputs from cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution of customized sales presentations, pitch decks, and other collateral.Demonstrating excellent managerial skills by leading and motivating direct and adjacent teams.Ensuring that we are not only presenting materials – we are telling a cohesive and compelling story that resonates with each of our clients on a customized basis.Pitch & Presentation Development: Designing and developing compelling bespoke pitches and presentations customizing and personalizing our value proposition; collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary information and insights; developing case studies.Client Engagement: Engaging with potential clients to understand their needs and objectives; present pitches to prospective clients articulating our value proposition.Market Analysis: Conducting market research to have a deep understanding of prospective clients, industry trends, competitive activities; provide strategic insights to enhance and customize pitch and presentation process.Project Management: Manage multiple pitch and presentation projects simultaneously; coordinate cross-functional teams to gather required resources and inputs; creating and maintaining a library of presentations and assets; track and report on the progress and success rates of initiatives.Innovation and improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to enhance, uplevel and improve both the pitch and the process.

Qualifications10+ years of experience, minimum 7+ years managing teams.Proven experience in business development, marketing & project management, preferably within an agency environment and in client-facing roles.A demonstrated record of bringing in innovative solutions to address client challenges.Excellent presentation and storytelling skills, with a history of engaging and creating impact with your audience(s).Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work across several teams with ease and align several business priorities.Knowledge of capital markets and financial industry trends.

This position is a

full-time in-office role (4-5 days a week in-office).

The base pay range for this role is $131,700 – $219,400. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
