Regional Directors, Regional Communications Team, Development TeamGeneral Purpose:This role is responsible for developing and leading Steiger’s marketing and communication. This includes leading a team, building systems that improve efficiency and guarantee consistent quality, and implementing strategies that lead to an increased reach and engagement with Steiger.2. a. Strategic LeadershipDevelop and execute a comprehensive communication strategy that resonates across our diverse regions that will:

broaden awareness for Steigergrow our reach (database, social media followers, views, attendance at events, etc.)improve the quality and consistency of our communicationincrease engagement for Steiger’s key audiences (mobilization, donors, and church leaders) by defining key metrics and regular reporting and analysis

Ensure consistent messaging aligned with Steiger’s mission and values while tailoring it to specific international audiences.Work with Steiger “voices” to ensure world class resources and content (books, videos, tools, podcasts, blogs, media, events, etc.) are produced regionally and globally and build marketing strategies for each of these.Develop strategies for the management, development, distribution, and maintenance of all print and emailed communications including newsletters, prayer communications, donor information, and other promotional material (brochures, flyers, etc.)Oversee the Steiger’s global digital presence, ensuring that it aligns with the communication strategy. Leverage social media platforms to engage with international audiences and promote global initiatives.b. International Communication OperationsProvide resources and support to regional communications teams, ensuring consistency.Develop and maintain good metrics on the effectiveness of our communication, as well as strategies for improvement.Develop, compose, distribute, and implement policies to enhance the efficiency of the communications team, and to further develop the building and maintenance of Steiger’s brand.Develop and manage the team budgetc. International Communications Team

Build, manage, and develop the International Communications Team, including outside contractor and unpaid volunteers, to support the communications strategyWork with the Communications Manager to ensure that projects, events, and initiatives are managed wellOversee the preparation of OKR’s (Objectives & Key Results) for team members, evaluating them regularly to ensure they are achieving their goals and the goals of the teamd. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

a. Background

Minimum of 7 years of Communications experience, some of this in international work or within a global organization.At least 3 years of management experience.A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or CommunicationProven success designing and executing marketing and communications strategies and campaigns.b. Skills

Strong leadership skills with experience in managing geographically dispersed teams and fostering a culture of collaboration.Demonstrated excellent organizational and planning skillsProficiency in digital communication tools and platforms, including social media management and analytics.Familiarity with global trends and emerging technologies influencing the communication landscape.Innovative thinker, with a track record for translating strategic thinking into action plans and outputExcellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and lead teams across diverse backgrounds.Quick to pick up Steiger’s voice and culture and then communicate this clearly.Excellent writing and verbal communication skillsAbility to think creatively and collaboratively about all elements of communications workHigh energy, maturity, and leadership with the ability to serve as a unifying forceStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsAPPLICATION PROCESS
