The Sr. Director, Media Partnerships will serve as the primary point of contact and relationship manager for our domestic and international media partners. This person will be responsible for strengthening existing relationships and forging new relations to maximize marketing opportunities, grow our media programming opportunities, and drive incremental revenue. This critical role will be responsible for developing and executing a media partnership strategy that ultimately leads to strong consumer engagement.ResponsibilitiesMaximize domestic media partner relationship through editorial integrations and opportunistic marketing that aligns with other partner programming.Oversee and manage relationships with national and international media rights holders, marketing partners and golf governing bodies.Act as liaison between partners and internal departments in order to facilitate communication and asset delivery.Identify growth opportunities for new and existing rights holders in order to maximize TGL exposure, revenue and market growth.Assist internal teams in media rights negotiation and help build business case for new markets and properties.Serve as the internal representative for media rights holders in order to facilitate specific broadcasters needs and opportunities.Serve as ambassador for international partners ensuring brand guidelines are met.Work with partners to maximize TGL exposure and promotional opportunities.Partner with TGL Player Relations, Team Relations and key media partners on the creation of the league schedule, so as to maximize TGL exposure and viewership opportunities across linear and digital platforms.Develop and implement a comprehensive media partnership strategy while serving as ambassador for various partners, ensuring brand guidelines are met along with facilitating specific international broadcaster needs.Lead internal cross-functional collaboration efforts in rights negotiations to help build business cases for new markets and properties.Represent TGL in other Marketing partnerships as needed in order to maximize TGL integration and promotion.RequirementsBachelor’s Degree10+ years media, marketing or sales experience (preferably in the entertainment/sports/media industry) – includes experience in strategy development, programming, and relationship building. Golf knowledge a plus.Demonstrated experience developing a media programming strategy that has led to increased consumer engagement.Experience in creating made-for-tv events preferred.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments to drive results.Demonstrated knowledge of the sports media rights landscape worldwide including deal structures.Relationships with key broadcasters and golf industry personnel.Understanding of sports digital media trends.Highly independent, motivated and results driven individual comfortable building.Excellent critical thinking, business writing and interpersonal skills.Extraordinary attention to detail.Must be willing to live in and travel to Florida. Travel to meet with partners required.LocationThis role is based at our headquarters in Winter Park, FL.
