POSITION

We are seeking a creative, tech-savvy, and strategic Marketing Manager. The Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the voice and brand of Amethod Public Schools and its six individual schools. This position involves creating and executing a wide range of marketing initiatives focused on content marketing for parent, student, alumni, community, and external stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, strong strategic and critical thinking skills, exceptional writing and communication abilities, and a tech-savvy approach to managing digital and print media. This role requires a proactive and organized professional, who is passionate about education and adept at fostering meaningful connections with all stakeholders.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and implement comprehensive marketing and communications strategies aligned with the network's mission and goals.Conduct market research and analysis to identify target audiences, understand their needs, and develop effective messaging.Collaborate with school leaders and staff to develop marketing plans for each school within the network.Establish and maintain a strong brand identity for AMPS and the schools within the network.Create public awareness of the network, schools, accomplishments, and its brand.Develop and manage brand guidelines and style manuals.Ensure consistent messaging and brand application across all marketing materials and channels.Develop and execute student enrollment and staff hiring marketing campaigns to attract and retain students and staff.Track and analyze enrollment and hiring data to measure campaign effectiveness.Develop and manage media relations strategies to generate positive press coverage.Create and distribute press releases, media advisories, and other communications materials.Manage social media channels and engage with the community online.Develop and manage internal and external communications.Maintain a continuous flow of information among the network, the schools, and its external constituencies.Manage the network's website and ensure it is optimized for search engines and user experience.Analyze website traffic and user behavior to improve performance.Plan and execute marketing and community events, such as recruitment fairs, conferences, and fundraising events.Report on marketing results to leadership and stakeholders.Provide training in the maintenance, use, and distribution of the various communication tools utilized by AMPS.Coordinate executive communication for the network.Serve in advisory and consultant capacities to school administrators, staff, and others in matters concerning communications.Maintain contact lists.

Candidate RequirementsUnwavering commitment to the organization, its mission, and core values.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.Ability to write clear and concise internal and external communications.Strong analytical skills and ability to lead change initiatives.Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with short deadlines, and solve problems effectively.Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.Ability to work with multiple technologies and learn new systems quickly.Knowledge of public education and charter school movement, preferred.

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design or related field.3+ years of experience in public relations management, public information, public affairs, journalism, marketing, or a similar occupation preferred.Social media engagement skills, basic graphic design skills, photography skills, and videography skills.Familiarity with Canva and Adobe tools.Bilingual in Spanish, preferred.Previous experience in charter schools, preferred.

Physical RequirementsProlonged periods of desk work and computer use.Motor coordination and finger dexterity for keyboarding and other tasks.Occasional lifting of objects up to twenty pounds.Ability to access and navigate various facilities within the organization.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $90,000-$110,000. Salary is commensurate with experience, education, and expertise. A competitive benefits package is also offered.

This is a full-time, exempt, 100% in-person position.
