Equipped with a first-of-its-kind 5G network, a passion for change and the power to drive it, we’ll emerge as the nation’s fourth facilities-based wireless carrier and a disruptive force in the market at large.**Job Duties and Responsibilities**We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to lead the creation and maintenance of standardized data sets for our marketing and analytics teams. In this role, you'll partner with various teams to build data pipelines, maintain GIT repositories, QA code, and develop data dictionaries. Your leadership will be key in driving data-driven strategies to improve our acquisition marketing and customer retention efforts.**Key Responsibilities:**In this role, you will:Collaborate to source and integrate data from various platforms and datasets for marketing and churn analysis.Build and maintain scalable data pipelines to process, cleanse, and transform data, ensuring quality and consistency.Create optimized datasets for analytics and modeling, working closely with data scientists and analysts.Implement policies to ensure data compliance, security, and privacy.Enhance data processing workflows for better performance and scalability.Work with stakeholders to understand data needs and effectively communicate solutions.**Skills, Experience and Requirements****Education and Experience:**+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field+ 3+ years experience as a Data Engineer, Software Engineer, or similar role, with a focus on building and maintaining data pipelines, data integration, and data warehousing solutions+ 3+ years proficiency in programming languages such as SQL and Python**Skills and Qualifications:**+ Proficient in Jira, Confluence, and GitHub.+ Experience in data preparation for Tableau and data science projects.+ Skilled in AWS, Snowflake, BigQuery, GCP, or Azure.+ Knowledgeable in relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.+ Familiar with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.+ Strong attention to detail, with effective teamwork and communication skills.This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to critical data science initiatives aimed at reducing customer churn and driving new customer acquisition for our telecom company.
