You will implement comprehensive media relations strategies to effectively communicate our key messages, initiatives and accomplishments to build and maintain a positive public image for our company.Responsibilities+ Implement media relations strategies aligned with Bath & Body Works’ goals and objectives.+ Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, bloggers and other media professionals across print, broadcast and digital platforms.+ Proactively pitch stories, press releases and other media materials to secure coverage in target media outlets.+ Serve as a primary point of contact for media inquiries and interview requests, coordinating responses and spokesperson availability as needed.+ Monitor media coverage and industry trends, providing timely updates and insights to internal stakeholders.+ Conceptualize and develop written media materials, including fact sheets, press releases and pitches.+ Support ongoing sampling initiatives and product request fulfillment.+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Comms Planning, Integrated Marketing & Media and functional expert teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment across all channels.+ Support the planning and execution of press events, conferences and media tours to generate publicity and raise awareness of the company’s initiatives.+ Minimal to moderate travel required.+ Other duties as assigned.Qualifications+ 3-5 years of proven experience in media relations, public relations or corporate communications, preferably within retail, beauty or home/lifestyle.+ Strong relationships with media and demonstrated success in securing media coverage.+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages and narratives.+ Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.+ Proficiency in media monitoring and analytics tools.+ Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and driving brand awareness.+ Crisis management experience is a plus.Education+ Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations and/or Communications; experience in adjacent fields such as beauty, consumer goods, fashion or retail a plus.Core Competencies+ Lead with Curiosity & Humility+ Build High Performing Teams for Today & Tomorrow+ Influence & Inspire with Vision & Purpose+ Observe, Engage & Connect+ Strive to Achieve Operational Excellence+ Deliver Business ResultsBenefitsWe invite you to join Gingham Nation, where we invest in our associates through competitive compensation, benefits, and development opportunities, so they can continue to be their best at work, at home, and in their communities.
