Through leadership, research, education, and advocacy, NSC focuses on areas where most unintentional injuries and deaths occur.We are currently looking for a Vice President, Sales & Marketing Operations to join us in our mission to save lives and prevent injuries.Position Highlights:The Vice President, Sales & Marketing Operations is a strategic leader responsible for driving operational excellence across these three critical business functions. This individual will work closely with senior leadership to develop and execute strategies that optimize sales and marketing performance, improve operational efficiency, and support business growth objectives. The Vice President, Sales & Marketing Operations will oversee the alignment of operational processes with overall business goals, ensuring that cross-functional teams collaborate effectively to deliver high-quality results.What You’ll Do:+ Strategic Leadership:+ Develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive sales growth, marketing effectiveness, and operational efficiency.+ Collaborate with executive leadership to set long-term goals and objectives for the Sales, Marketing, and Operations groups.+ Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment with the company’s overall strategic direction.+ Sales Operations Management:+ Optimize sales processes and workflows to improve productivity and revenue generation.+ Lead sales operations teams in creating and implementing effective sales strategies, forecasting, and performance metrics.+ Ensure alignment between sales teams and marketing initiatives to maximize lead generation and conversion.+ Marketing Operations Oversight:+ Oversee the execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring they are effectively integrated with sales efforts.+ Manage marketing operations, including marketing automation, campaign performance tracking, and marketing budget management.+ Work closely with the marketing team to refine branding, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.+ Operational Excellence:+ Ensure operational efficiency across all business units, focusing on process optimization, cost reduction, and resource management.+ Develop and implement performance metrics to measure operational effectiveness and make data-driven improvements.+ Manage and improve supply chain, logistics, and customer service operations to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.+ Team Leadership and Development:+ Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams across sales, marketing, and operations.+ Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and innovation within the organization.+ Build and maintain a strong leadership pipeline by identifying and developing key talent within the organization.+ Financial Management:+ Develop and manage budgets for the Sales, Marketing, and Operations functions.+ Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.+ Collaborate with finance to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.+ Stakeholder Communication:+ Serve as the key point of contact between sales, marketing, and operations teams and the executive leadership team.+ Present regular updates on performance metrics, strategic initiatives, and operational improvements to the CEO/COO and the Board of Directors.+ Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and partners.We’re Looking for Someone with:+ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Operations, or a related field required. MBA or advanced degree preferred.+ Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in operations, sales, and marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.+ Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.+ Proven track record of driving operational excellence and leading cross-functional teams.+ Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.+ Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial planning.+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.+ This is a remote position.+ Salary range: $165,000 to $175,000 with a growth incentive plan.Reasons You’ll Love it here:NSC cares about the safety, health, and overall well-being of our employees.
