The work is meaningful, the culture is rewarding, and the purpose is eternal.The Content Coordinator position exists to provide technical and administrative support to the content team by serving as the point of contact for its business services. This dependable and thorough finisher finds satisfaction and joy in helping the team function winsomely, efficiently and with a reputation for excellence.Essential Duties/Responsibilities:+ Coordinates day-to-day administrative details for the department including meeting arrangements, collection/archive/distribution of meeting minutes when needed, guest reception, meal planning and reservations, mail, and shipping arrangements, and more+ Assists the Executive Director of Content and Product Development and coordinates with Legal to shepherd contracts from creation to execution and final distribution to stakeholders. Maintains a digital contract archive; serves as point of contact (POC) for ongoing contract inquiries and research+ Helps drive marketing initiatives and processes for books and publications, helping with maintenance and updating of publishing content calendars and schedules. Helps develop marketing strategy packs, marketing plans, and promo pages+ Assists with manuscript and book editing process, including learning editing best practices and processes+ Organizes and processes book proposals, supporting acquisition process during submission, consideration, and acquisition stages. Supports monitoring of partner reports and publishing dates to ensure alignment of delivery dates. Supports onboarding of new authors and content providers, collecting needed information to proceed with contract and communicating key processes and deliverables+ Monitors contracts and project milestones to ensure author and vendor disbursements are made at the appropriate time, initiates, and routes disbursement requests to Finance+ Generates team purchasing requisitions for freelance writers, editors, illustrators, designers and all other departmental needs, logging and tracking the documents until completion+ Purchases, issues, records, and coordinates product SKUs (ISBNs, GTINs, 235 Ingram SKUs) and their analytics+ Initiates/enters new products into the Aprimo workflow; updates Aprimo as production milestones change; owns and updates the Aprimo GRG Cloud 24 Month Product Report for accurate and timely ministry distribution+ Assists with author and other content provider relations by processing author or content provider product orders, serving as the team’s POC and the person who inputs sales orders through Great Plains; collects tracking information for authors; processes shipping claims for missing/damaged goods+ Updates the new product distribution list and ensures timely distribution of product copies to internal and external stakeholders (legal, marketing, office of the president, authors, author’s agents, etc.)+ Maintains and organizes “The Vault” product archive and responds to requests for use of archived and marketing promotional copies+ Archives all completed files and creative assets for each new work (SharePoint, Aprimo FAM, physical files) and serves as POC for file requests+ Assists with development and maintenance of an active influencer contact list+ Coordinates cross-departmental projects as needed+ Creates, maintains, and distributes various reports, memos, files, archives, and presentation documents as needed both to the content team and for cross functional teams+ Serves as POC for the team’s purchasing credit card (p-card); collects receipts and routes for monthly approvalOther Duties/Responsibilities:+ Maintains files for reports, requisitions, contracts, etc.+ Assists with the development of reports, charts, presentations+ Coordinates special projects as assigned+ Performs other duties as assignedWorking Environment/Physical Requirements:+ Office environmentJOB QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTSCharacter/Spiritual:Exemplifies Ephesians 5:1-2, “Therefore be imitators of God as dear children and walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us...”Pursues the Great Commission given by Jesus Christ in Matthew 28:19-20, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ; maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Focus; adheres to the Standard of Moral Conduct (ocusonthefamily.com/fotf/pdf/about-us/human-resources/moral-policy.pdf) and Statement of Faith (ocusonthefamily.com/about/foundational-values#values) ; upholds Focus on the Family's ministry in prayerPrays personally for Focus on the Family’s staff and constituents and may occasionally lead in a public prayerEngages in Christian ministryDemonstrates behaviors aligned with FOF core values (ocusonthefamily.com/about/foundational-values#values)Personal Characteristics:+ Self-starting multi-tasker, decisive, flexible, approachable, detail-oriented+ Calm under pressure and eager to help others+ Consistent and thorough finisher of projects and tasks+ Exhibits Lencioni’s Working Genius in the areas of Enablement and TenacityKnowledge/Experience:+ Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field or comparable experience+ 1-3 years of experience in related field+ Marketing experience a plus+ Working knowledge of FOF mission, philosophy, values, and objectives+ Knowledge of various software applications, i.e., Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.+ Knowledge of accounting systems a plus, but not requiredSkills, Abilities, and Special Talents/Gifts:+ Strong oral and written communication skills+ Skill and tact managing confidential information+ Copy editing and proofing skills+ Strong interpersonal skills+ Demonstrated competence in managing multiple projects or tasks simultaneously+ Attention to detail and accuracy with strong organizational skills+ A confident learner and user of new technologies, software, and business systemsPay Range: $18.00 to $21.00/hrApplication Materials Required: Cover Letter, Resume/CVApplication Materials Instructions: Please identify the job specific minimum qualifications you possess in your cover letter and be sure your resume includes any and all relevant experience to be accurately assessed against the qualifications listed in the posting.
