A total of 100 guestrooms and suites with private outdoor terraces, a new Italian dining concept with indoor and outdoor seating and its rooftop Bellini Restaurant and Bar provide guests with attentive European service, complimented by luxury accommodations and amenities.YOUR ROLE AS A MARKETING COORDINATOR:Education, Experience, and Skill RequirementsPrevious experience in a similar role.Experience using Microsoft Office preferred.Excellent customer service and positive interpersonal skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, hospitality management, or communications is preferred, not required.Ability to use effective judgment and to handle and maintain confidential information.Ability to cross-train within the department and carry out other functions when required.Ability to work independently with little supervision.Ability to effectively handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.Excellent typing and organizational skills.Detail oriented.Able to present themselves with an uplifting personality.Strong level of professionalism must be displayed at all times.Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.GENERALHourly, monitor the sales email inbox for new inquiries. Load and distribute effectively and in a timely manner.Sales/Marketing/Catering expenditure budget – minute and track and ensure POs are raised and coded according to the 11th edition.Submit invoices, purchasing orders and internal requisitions to the respective department.Projects and administrative work.Adheres to and exemplifies Mr. C Miami Coconut Grove standards for guest service.Maintain a positive relationship with all Mr. C Miami Coconut Grove staff members and any external customer that comes into contact with Mr. C Miami Coconut Grove.Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the DOSMHandle communication with clients on behalf of DOSM when needed.Opera Administrator, coordinator monthly, oversees all Opera reports and audits.Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to all tasks.Assist DOSM with all Marketing-related duties.Assist with all internal marketing activations.Develop a thorough understanding of sales team deployment, market segmentation and positioning, seasonality, and pricing as it relates to the sales & marketing strategies of the hotel.SALES/CATERINGAssists with all internal marketing events and groups, including photoshoots.Prepares resumes for marketing-related groups. Routing, deposits, cuts off, etc.Attends BEO meetings as needed for marketing-related events.Assists with Sales Specific Projects as presented by DOSM or DOS.Supports management of Sales Related Platforms such as FHR, Virtuoso, Signature, Cvent, Lanyon, etc. as indicated by DOSM or DOS.MARKETINGTrack all marketing-related data.Coordinates all assigned tasks for advertising, public relations, promotional events, travel agent, and media/press familiarization tours and related projects.Facilitate the tracking and reporting of all marketing expenditures.Manage pro-active posting and follow travel sites including Trip Advisor & Social Media Channels.Advanced skills in preparation and distribution monthly newsletters and e-distributions via various channels.Coordinate internal resources to create and facilitate mail campaigns to include targeted mailing lists, collateral material, and follow-up mailing.Builds databases to track event activity and shares with promotional partners.Assist DOSM on creative marketing projects, involving Social Media, Editorial Content, Public relations, and Cultural partnerships such as proposals and special event invitations.Job duties include contributing to the development of marketing campaigns, ensuring that the print and online presence of the company is up-to-date and effective, preparing sales presentations and collateral for sales associates, as well as creating sales reports to evaluate performance.Assisting in planning and implementing marketing plans and conducting and analyzing market research.INTENT AND FUNCTION OF JOB DESCRIPTIONS:All descriptions have been reviewed to ensure that only essential functions and basic duties have been included.
