Mechanical Designer - Technical Lead

Job Description:Very Good experience in onsite-offshore coordination.Experience in Mechanical design using CREO.Managing large assemblies and system layout using reference geometry.Perform Finite Element Analysis as required (using Ansys/Mechanical).In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, sheet metal forming & operations.Assembly and part tolerancing including GD&T.Understand and develop system and subsystem requirement specifications for components used within ultra-high and ultra-clean vacuum environments.Develop conceptual and detailed designs using 3D modeling software packages (ProE/Creo, etc.).Perform thermal and structural analysis using finite element analysis software packages (Ansys).Analytical problem-solving skills in the structural, dynamic, thermal, and fluid domains.Perform feasibility studies and proof of concepts.Develop test plans for prototypes.Assist with prototype testing & assembly.Interact with manufacturing and service teams to support product transition into manufacturing.Understanding of materials and fabrication techniques for vacuum systems.Proficient in 3D solid modeling using CAD, preferably ProE/Creo.Thermal, vibrational, and airflow modeling through finite element methods are desirable.Ability to apply engineering tolerance and develop error budgets for components.Be able to work in a multi-discipline and multi-culture global organization.Be flexible and adaptive to adjust project focus based on priority changes.Excellent writing skills and verbal communication.Good knowledge of statics, mechanics of materials, fluid flow and heat transfer.SEMI (S2, S8) standards/Semiconductor domain experience added advantage.Qualification:
