Position Overview:

Alta Career Academy is seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketing and Community Outreach Coordinator to join our team. This role is crucial in promoting our school’s mission, attracting prospective students, and building strong relationships with the local community. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, experience in marketing, and a strong ability to connect with diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy Development:

Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing plan to increase awareness and enrollment at Alta Career Academy.

Create and manage content for the academy’s website, social media channels, and other communication platforms.

Design and distribute promotional materials such as brochures, flyers, and advertisements.

Community Outreach:

Build and maintain relationships with local schools, community organizations, businesses, and other stakeholders to promote the school’s programs.

Organize and host informational sessions, open houses, and tours for prospective students and families.

Public Relations:

Handle media inquiries, press releases, and public relations efforts.

Develop partnerships with colleges, employers, and community groups.

Manage crisis communication efforts and maintain a positive public image of the school.

Partnership Development:

Identify and develop partnerships with local colleges, technical schools, employers, and community organizations to create pathways for students.

Collaborate with these partners to offer joint programs, internships, and other opportunities for students.

Enrollment Management:

Work closely with the Admissions team to support student recruitment and retention efforts.

Analyze enrollment data and market trends to adjust marketing strategies as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

1+ years of marketing or outreach experience, preferably in education.

Bilingual (English and Spanish).

Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media management, and content creation.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Strong organizational and project management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in education or with non-traditional learning environments.

Graphic design skills or experience with marketing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).

Working Conditions:

Full-time position with occasional evening or weekend work required for events.

Ability to travel locally for community outreach and events.
