Instructional Designer 1505 (H) A leading enterprise software solutions company is seeking a Instructional Designer. The successful candidate will get to design and build a variety of sales enablement training programs, courses, and assets to help develop knowledge and skills across our sales teams. Instructional Designer Pay and Benefits: • Hourly pay: $50/hr • Worksite: Leading enterprise software solutions company (Chicago, IL 60604, or Atlanta, GA 30318 - Hybrid) • W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL • 40 hours/week, 8 Month Assignment, Possibility of conversion/extension. Instructional Designer Responsibilities: • Produce a wide variety of content including: • Live Instructor Led Workshops: both in person and virtual (ILT & VILT). • On-Demand Courses: e-learning courses, just in time content. • Job Aids: simple, clear instructions on guides on how to do something in sales. • Additional sales enablement tools including: videos, infographics, slide decks, logos, flow charts, diagrams – you name it! • What You’ll Do: Design • Curriculum Design: Define the scope, objectives, storyboard and outlines for training programs and learning paths to meet the learning needs of the sales team. • Lesson Design: Design interactive assets, courseware, and videos using adult learning theory that appeals to various learning styles and international audiences. • Collaborate with program managers and subject matter experts to develop content. • Content Creation: • Create & Edit Lessons: write, develop and update lesson content • E-Learning: Design and develop interactive online courses in Articulate Rise 360. • Presentation Design: Create visually appealing slide decks for training programs. • Interactive Learning Experiences: Design engaging activities and assignments to ensure learners get a chance to practice and refine what they learn. • Assessments: Design quizzes, knowledge checks, assessments, certifications and skills-based evaluations to ensure knowledge transfer. • Video & Podcasts: Create storyboards, write scripts, record voice over, produce, edit video and podcast content. • Graphic Design: Create logos, diagrams, infographics, process flowcharts and other visual content for learning programs. • LMS & Content Management: Upload and manage courses in Workday Learning, Highspot and other LMS and CMS systems. Learning Assessment & Consulting • Need Analysis: Evaluate skills gaps and make recommendations as to how to meet those needs through training, enablement, and coaching. • Measure Program Success: Work with program managers to determine how to measure the success of learning programs using the Kirkpatrick model. • Advise & Consulting: Offer advice, expertise and ideas to program managers and trainers as needed to improve enablement programs based on learning best practices. Instructional Designer Qualifications: • 3+ years of experience in instructional design, training or learning & development. • Bachelor’s Degree is required. • Eye for Design: able to create visually appealing courses, content, diagrams and slides that are clean, modern and well laid out. • Make Complex Concepts Simple: able to translate complex concepts into simple terms and organize it in a way that’s easy to understand. • Experience in common Sales tools: Salesforce, Clari, Outreach, etc. • Experience with Design Tools: experience with authoring, multimedia, and graphics tools including Articulate Storyline 360, Articulate Rise, Camtasia Video Editing, PowerPoint, Google Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud. • Manage Work in Remote Environment: ability to work both independently and in teams, balance multiple projects and prioritize time well.
