Position Summary...What you'll do...**About the Role:**As a vital member of the Walmart Corporate Real Estate team, the Project Manager for Events Engineering is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for associates and guests. This role focuses on project planning, execution, and providing high-quality service to ensure that our Workplaces and neighborhoods are vibrant, efficient, and welcoming environments that celebrate our culture and purpose.**What You'll Do:**+ **Project Planning and Execution:** Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans and timelines to ensure the successful execution of events and initiatives. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, establish realistic deadlines, and oversee task completion to achieve project objectives.+ **Event Coordination:** Assist in organizing and executing building events, workshops, and seminars that support corporate objectives and foster community engagement.+ **Communication:** Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications. Provide regular status updates, manage changes, and share important details with business partners and stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.+ **Budget Management and Invoice Processing:** Oversee the capital expense budget for AV system installations and maintenance. Responsibilities include forecasting costs, tracking expenditures, and processing invoices to ensure budget adherence and financial accuracy.+ **Management of Third-Party Labor Resources:** Help oversee the management of third-party labor resources for Sam Walton Hall and the broader Walmart campus. This involves coordinating with external vendors, supervising their activities, and ensuring that the delivered services adhere to Walmart's standards and project specifications.+ **Business Solutions Implementation:** Identify and implement effective business solutions by building relationships with stakeholders, assessing business needs, designing, and executing processes, monitoring outcomes, and adapting to changes and new challenges.+ **Customer Service Excellence:** Deliver outstanding customer service that reflects Walmart's core values and commitment to excellence. Prefer live event management experience.+ **Skills:** Proficiency in project management principles and Microsoft Office applications.
