The
Production Artist
provides support to the Graphics/Production team by developing and completing final print ready artwork for production of a variety of labels and packaging. The Artist must have an understanding of printing processes, ability to offer creative solutions and provide accurate artwork revisions to clients.
Key Responsibility:
Execute artwork layouts across various die lines and print processes accurately with an eye for detailMaintain design consistency and brand guidelinesWork with internal departments to make sure artwork complies with all relevant legal and regulatory guidelinesWork with internal clients to determine approved layout designPrepare and collect print-ready files for a wide range of printing formatsReview and approve printer proofs as neededMaintain organization of graphic filesQualifications:
Degree in Graphic Design or sufficient training/experience in the graphic arts field with knowledge of print file preparation (offset, digital, flexo, dry offset, lithography, )Experience in graphic arts/print productionProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat) on a Mac platformUnderstanding of labeling requirements and how they apply to packagingStrong proofreading skills and attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines efficientlyPositive attitude and eagerness to learnExperience with 3D renderings a plusAdaptability and creativity a plusPLZ Corp offers a robust suite of benefits including:
