Join us!POSITION SUMMARY:As the Manager of Media Planning at Nespresso USA, your primary responsibility will be to develop, implement, and continuously optimize Nespresso USA's demand generation Paid Media Strategy. This position is a hybrid role, based at our corporate office in Manhattan, NY with typically 1 day per week (Tuesday) in office.RESPONSIBILITES:Traditional Media LeadershipPlanning OwnershipLead paid media / buying strategy as well as tactical planning across traditional channels; optimize media mix to drive growth and meet brand and business goalsServe as primary point of contact for Traditional Media AOR (Open Mind), ensuring achievement of all deliverables, quality of resources, and overall relationship healthUtilize knowledge of media landscape and activations to act as a consultant on behalf of other internal teams (Trade, B2B, Retail, etc.) looking to engage in paid media activitiesRelationship ManagementPartner closely with demand-generating counterparts responsible for Analytics, Tech, and Channel Strategy to design and nurture a holistic, full-funnel marketing approach that maximizes ROICo-own relationship with full funnel integrated media AOR (Croud)Partner Management & Thought LeadershipCollaborate with Nespresso HQ counterparts to ensure US market interests and realities are recognized, with an eye towards integration of HQ shared processes, technologies, and ways of working that benefit the marketDrive all partners to plan audience-first and with a full funnel full stack mindset, considering the impact of all paid, owned and earned touchpoints in partnership with the Integrated Communications ManagerServe as key point of contact for Nestle in the Market (NiM) and Media Partners (networks, publications, online platforms and publishers) and work closely with a broader team to manage key social/digital partners (Google, Meta, etc.)Stay up to date on media and influencer landscape, and constantly seek out innovative partners/platforms to identify new opportunitiesCreate learning agendas for media and influencer channels, including creative performance and recommended asset optimizations. Disseminate learnings to the broader organization on a regular cadenceAssist with Audience Planning and Customer Journey building via a variety of technology & agency partners including multi-touch attributionContribute to audience development strategies and optimal audience management, leveraging both first and third party data to ensure the right message is matched to the right consumer at the right timeCo-Create campaign-planning timelines with Integrated Communications Manager to ensure content is contextually relevant and developed based on creative best practices that best serve strategic initiativesOwn the deployment and ongoing optimization of paid contentMeasurement & ReportingPartner closely with the Analytics arm of the Media COE to collect and review data for Marketing Mix ModelingMonitor and regularly report on Share of Voice to ensure media sufficiencyCo-own the monthly forecast process for media budget, ensuring accuracy of phasing and spendWork with extended support teams (internal and agency) to assess performance, identify opportunities for optimization, and provide holistic reporting on media efficiency & effectiveness to senior managementPeople Management and DevelopmentCoach, mentor, and develop one Planning SpecialistREQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's Degree5+ Years in Media Strategy / Planning roles at Brand or AgencyExperience in CPG / DTC media and marketing preferred; experience with luxury goods and/or sustainable brands is a plusExperience developing full funnel digital media strategies to achieve both online and offline brand and business goalsExperience using Marketing Technologies such as a multi-touch attribution tool to guide media mix decisionsFamiliarity with digital & programmatic media ecosystem, data providers, digital media tools and systems (DSPs, DMPs, Ad Servers, etc.)SKILLS:Strategic thinker understanding both short and long term business consequences of all decisionsStrong interpersonal, communication, organization and project management skillsAbility to oversee and track multiple projects with due dates and varying requirements and prioritiesThe approximate pay range for this position is $145,000- $165,000 base. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
