As a key member of the Sun Day Red marketing team, the Senior Graphic Designer is the day-to-day backbone of the marketing and storytelling team. As an expert in both digital and print production, the Senior Graphic Designer delivers their creative eye on a broad range of projects. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, is experienced in a range of graphic design areas and revels in a startup environment where everyone is expected to have fun, collaborate, contribute and make their mark in the creative direction of this new company.

Essential Functions And Key Responsibilities

Designs for a broad range of graphic design assets including catalogs, point of sale, brochures, social media, advertising, logo/identity design, signage, packaging and web bannersDesign and execute graphic concepts to meet product or campaign visionAbility to carry sales or marketing concepts across multiple pieces as part of a complete campaignProvide creative direction and oversight on print and digital projectsReformatting and updating existing creative for final file deliveryUpdate and maintain marketing, and sales collateral to ensure brand consistencyDesigns conceptual creative for presentationsParticipate or lead small-scale photoshootsWork closely with the entire marketing team to provide photo and graphic outputs for a wide range of projectsLeads marketing design in creative thinking and problem solvingDaily upkeep of project and asset management software, organizing and archiving completed jobsCreative problem solver: be able to define challenges, collect relevant information, draw insightful conclusions and develop marketing and graphic concepts to address the challengeProvide design guidance to peersPerform other related duties and assignments as required.Education, Work Experience And Professional Certifications

7+ years of experience as a graphic designerBachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent level of experienceStrong portfolio of high level produced workKnowledge And Skills Requirements

Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and presentations skillsStrong problem solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to interpret and follow design guidelines, creative briefs and feedbackAble to prioritize many tasks and deadlines with multiple departmentsExpert knowledge of printing process and how to create print ready filesPositive and collaborative attitudeAbility to recognize opportunities for more creative thinking within a projectWillingness to follow and create standard process and practice strong file organizationAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment and self-manage personal deadlinesExpert understanding of basic design elements (Line, Shape, Direction, Size, Texture and Color) and principles of design (Balance, Proximity, Alignment, Contrast, Repetition and Space)Working knowledge of corporate software including PowerPoint, Word, OutlookProficient in Adobe Creative Suite (With an emphasis on Adobe InDesign CC)Working knowledge of Figma and Keynote a plusExperience in sports, fashion, or lifestyle industries a plusWork Environment / Physical Requirements

Normal office conditionsAbility to work extended hours as necessaryLight physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materialsTaylorMade is a performance driven organization and our total rewards approach to compensation is designed to support this. We consider many factors in determining base compensation, including position scope, job related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location. The expected annual base pay range for this position is $95,000 -$105,000.
