The ideal candidate will have a science communication, marketing, and/or science background, and a diverse skillset in science communication, outreach, education and data analysis. We provide accessible, inclusive, high-quality environmental science curriculum and informal learning experiences, as well as meaningful professional and career development opportunities.**What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be**Communication and Marketing for CEEE (60%):+ Media support duties include:+ Website content design, content curation and maintenance+ Content and resources management across various platforms, including CEEE homepage, external program pages and corresponding social media accounts+ Maintenance of CEEE resources includes:+ Formatting and standardization of curriculum resources+ Development and maintenance of educational media+ Review and standardization of written materials like lesson plans, marketing materials and academic journal submissions+ Marketing of educational programs and social media+ Support of marketing strategies and their implementation for various educational programs+ Development of social media posts+ Support communication products (e.g., newsletter)**Program Logistics (30%)**+ Support the undergraduate research experience and student programs through logistics and support for students communication products+ Provide logistical and technical support for online, hybrid and in-person workshops, panels, and webinars+ Synthesis of meeting notes and documents+ Project support**Additional Tasks Include (10%):**+ Support resource or proposal development (e.g., research, data entry)+ Work with the CIRES finance team and program managers to ensure contractors, event speakers, gift card, and stipend recipients are paid timely+ Work with other CU departments to facilitate office needs including mail, facilities, and IT**What You Should Know**+ This position offers a hybrid work modality, requiring a minimum of 3 days per week of in-person work. Hybrid work arrangements will follow current CIRES and university guidance and policies.**What We Can Offer**+ CIRES offers a generous compensation and benefits package.+ The annual hiring salary for this position ranges from $42,500 - $55,000.
